THIS. IS. SPARKETPLACE! 300 on XBLVM
300 is on Xbox Live Video Marketplace for Live members in the U.S. It's available in both Standard Definition and High Definition, the HD rental weighing in at 5.3 GB. Really, that's all we gotta say about it. Er ... go download it now? Seriously though, it's really an epic film that we enjoyed in theatres, and having the HD DVD allows us to appreciate the quality of its digitally distributed cousin.[Thanks, J.R.]

I think of how often my 20GB, I'm sorry...12GB drive has less than that amount available. Good thing I can buy a 120GB unit and pay way too much for it!
DjDATZ @ Aug 14th 2007 2:42PM
Well...if I had that much space, then I might download it. lol...but since I don't, I'll just watch my regular 300 dvd.

never seen this movie. would love to purchase it from the video marketplace.
oh wait...I'm in Canada.
Jeff @ Aug 14th 2007 2:54PM
Are they saying that the download is better quality than the HD DVD?
Bravo6 @ Aug 14th 2007 2:54PM
A big price cut in their 120 GBs would certainly spur movie purchases..
DjDATZ @ Aug 14th 2007 3:12PM
AHAHAHAHHA xeno...don't worry...its only a couple months away.

This movie is a great way to learn history
...if you're an idiot.
SAGExSDX @ Aug 14th 2007 3:22PM
wow that title was a stretch. sorry =P
Hello @ Aug 14th 2007 4:00PM
...why would you want to learn history from an action movie?
MYPS3KilledMy360 @ Aug 14th 2007 5:08PM
hmmm? M$: Now that we are phasing out the core lets get people to buy bigger HDD. 360 as a counsil is a great system MSs shotty workmanship and money mongering marketing is just a little to much for me.
Slvrgun @ Aug 14th 2007 5:25PM
It would be nice if they sold other HDD sizes. 60 or maybe even 80 gigs would be nice.
Triforceowner @ Aug 14th 2007 6:44PM
This is only 5 GB? Why do we need four layer Blu-ray discs?
colin @ Aug 14th 2007 6:59PM
@triforceowner,
so you can fit all seasons of buffy on one disc

If Microsoft's workmanship and money mongering are getting to you, why do you incessantly troll xbox360fanboy? Honestly, do you feel the need to comment on -every- single story? Do you actually feel like anybody even listens to you anymore?
Do you need a hug?
ZeroCorpse @ Aug 15th 2007 12:59AM
Just saw it. I'm not sure why people think it was so amazing. It was interesting, and not a bad film, but I wouldn't call it "epic" or "must see" because really, it's a pretty simple story enhanced by some cool effects.
Still, if you can get it in HD on Marketplace, this is a good thing.
Boff @ Aug 15th 2007 6:41AM
I'm hoping this will be available in other regions once we get the XBLVM.
