Metal Slug 3 offically rolling onto XBLA
Well, it only took SNK nearly a year to announce it, but we finally know which Metal Slug will be hitting Xbox Live Arcade. Having already read the headline, you may have guessed that it's Metal Slug 3. If so, then you are correct. Go get yourself a cookie. According to a (translated) press release from SNK Playmore, the game will be part of the company's lineup at the Tokyo Game Show next month. In the same press release, it is also revealed that SNK Playmore will be showing off Fatal Fury Special (known as Wolf Legend Special in Japan).There you have it then. Now that the veil of secrecy has been lifted, are you happy with SNK's Metal Slug choice, or would you have preferred a different entry in the series?

Personally, I think Metal Slug X is the best, but 3 is pretty good.
I shouldn't buy this, I already have Metal Slug anthology on the Wii... But I do so want to play Metal Slug without retarded controls.

I love metal slug...even though I have bought [downloaded] this game many times...played the hell out of every sequal...I will still pick this up...one of my favorite arcade titles...wonder what insane achievements it will have...?

I am a huge fan of the Metal Slug series, but honestly Metal Slug 3 isnt my first choice. Metal Slug, 1, 2, or X would have been better, even Metal Slug Advance was cooler than 3, imo. Even still, I might end up getting it anyways ;)

sweeeet!!!!! X and 3 are my favorite metal slug games. These games imo blow contra out of the f*cking water too. They arent annoyingly frustrating. Just plain ol fun.

I played through Metal Slug Advance and liked it a lot, although I could never beat the last boss. Maybe I'll have better luck on this one!

I prefer to play this and all the other Metal Slugs on my MAME cabinet with an actual arcade joystick.
