Halo Wars gameplay footage now on XBLM [update 2]
We reported earlier today that something Halo Wars related was coming along today, and lo and behold, here it is. A 10 minute video of Halo Wars in action has now hit Xbox Live Marketplace as well as HaloWars.com. The video is the same walk-through demonstration that was shown at E3 and gives an overall feel for what the game has to offer. Some of the things you'll get to see are vehicle construction, troop movement, and of course, battle. But enough jibber-jabber, watch it already.
After you've seen Halo Wars in action, why not tell us what do you think? Does it have what it takes to give Command & Conquer 3 a run for its money?

I got nothing either. Not in new arrivals or in the Halo Wars category. Just X06 Trailer.

Wow that's awesome! I haven't played an RTS game since AoEIII and Starcraft, this definitely looks like it'll compete with the more popular RTS games(ex. Starcraft2).
But I most definitely rather play with the Covenant and UNSC than the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg...so I will p/u this game when it comes out.
I could imagine what it would look like in HD, let us know if you find it guys.

I haven't played an RTS game since AoE3 and Starcraft. But I would definitly purchase Halo Wars for the simple fact that we'd playing as the Convenant and UNSC, much better than the Protoss, Terran, and Zerg ;)
Halo Wars = Starcraft2 killer! Haha jk, those fanboys would kill me for saying that

Anyone else concerned this a US only trailer, which would be ridiculous for such a highly anticipated game...but it's nowhere to be found on the Canadian XBLM. :@

I really don't like Serina's voice, Cortana was much better.
Plus the guy talking had a really grating voice.
Game looks great, though!

That iS FUCKING SICK!!! THE SPIRIT of FIRE reminds me of the ION CANNONS from C&C1...
ITs much better than the hammer of dawn in the sense it could wipe out a whole army or base with just 1 blast......SWEEEET

okay first off i think you guys are doing good so far from the video and i was excited to hear Halo Wars was coming out because i like rts games and always tought it would be nice to have Halo as an rts game but to me as a person who has played rts games think its is missing stuff.for example in the video you showed only little things u never talked about how to deal with the econmy as in how to make money and if you would buy things and if powers would take money away. also for vechiles you forgot the gauss warthog, covant tank,covant spectre, the unsc longsword bomber,the covant fighter, for infintry you should have made more than just regular infintry like make rocket squads, grenade squads, engineers to repair or capture stuff for the unsc as well as engineer for the covant and try to divide special types of groups for the covant and not just have basic infintry and any other faction u might include like the rebels the unsc fought before the covant to have a good and somewhat long campaign and not just a short one plus it would be nice to play as the rebels or flood instead of just UNSC or Covant. you also should make sure you guys put some good powers to make the game better and i mean good powers for both faction and any other faction you might include. to summarise all this you guy need some more stuff for Halo Wars to be as good as Command and Conquere 3 tiberium wars or be better and i have Command and Conquere 3 so i would know plus i know how rts game and dont want to see Halo Wars not be a next best seller because i know you guys can make it happen
