Even more obsessive Game Fuel purchase disorder

Previously, we told you about a group of guys over at the Microsoft is Awesome blog who stockpiled an amazing stash of 444 cans of Mountain Dew Game Fuel. We then challenged you, fellow X3F'ers, to beat their 444 can survival hoard and we're proud to say that we have a new champion. Sent in to us by NeuralLink is the photographic proof you see above showcasing him and his three friends' new record setting Game Fuel stash. As you can see, they're rockin' a twelve pack Game Fuel pyramid consisting of 55 twelve packs which translates to 660 cans of sweet liquid sugar. Congrats NeuralLink and to your crew, that 660 can stockpile should last you through your 24 hour Halo 3 all-nighter. Drink up.

Each 12 oz can contains almost as much sugar as Red Bull. Like everyone else said a diabetics dream, and the stuff tastes like cough syrup. Why not just buy some beer if you want a buzz and you can't beat the taste.

You just can't imagine an HDTV and a XB360 in that room can you, I think they'll have spliced the RF adaptor for the Xbox into the 360 into a 15" viewstar television receiving unit complete with wired "remote" control and manual screwdriver tuning facility, sweet!!

I think it tastes good, but I wouldn't sip on it a lot just because I don't want to die lol. Then again, sipping on a can of beer isn't necessarily a "better" idea, then again beer is good for you, so now I don't know what to think.

I tried that stuff recetly and it sucked. It does litearlly taste like Live Wire (orange mountain dew) and code red (cherry mountain dew) mixed together, and it taste worse than either. Besides, if your in it for the caffine, their are plenty of more caffinated drinks, check here for the caffine content of most sodas: http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20070825/food.asp

I've been drinking a can or two since I found it in stores sometime last month, and I really like it a lot.

I've also bought a case of Bawls from Thinkgeek.com before, and I drink almost all energy drinks, or at least try them once.

I would LOVE 55 cases of Game Fuel, but I wouldn't buy that much! I can see maybe buying ten cases to last for a while, considering it'll be taken off shelves sooner than later, but 55 cases is a bit much I think.

According to Wikipedia, Mountain Dew is planning a blueberry flavor for release sometime soon..I'm looking forward to that if it's true.

...I'm a Halo 3 fanboy (the beta won me over), but more than that I'm a caffeine junkie. I usually get four shots of espresso in my latte drinks, I love to chew Black Black gum, and I miss DNL. Hell, the newer Jolt doesn't live up to it's first incarnation I think..there's no kick.

I really like the flavor of Game Fuel; it's not NEAR as sweet as some people have said, and it's GREAT near frozen.
I'd say it's a combo of Livewire and Code Red as some have mentioned, but I'd go farther and say that if you leave a can open and come back a while later, it tastes a little like if you'd melted a 'bomb pop'.

I owned my 360 way before i owned a PS3 my friend, and to be honest, i prefer it to the PS3. In fact i only bought my PS3 2 weeks ago because i had spare cash from selling my WoW account.

Live is better than PSN and the console supports VGA out of the box. I "prefer" the xbox 360.

My hate of halo/halo fanboys has nothing to do with the consoles i own.

Just because i dislike halo, doesn't mean i dont love my 360. I'm playing the skate demo on my TV behind me for maybe the 30th time since it was released.

Man whats up with gamers these days. Cant state any opinion without it instantly being construed as an act of console warring.

I give respect to 360 fanboys that don't care for Halo as long as they respect Nintendo dudes that don't care for Mario games, or Sony guys that can't stand God of War.

It's just far and few between to find people like that, so when someone bashes or otherwise frowns on a big IP like Halo,other fanboys might take it to mean they're bashing the entire console.

There's room for everyone! I don't personally care for Madden, but I love football:)

1) Viva pinata is a brilliant game, only idiots that haven't played it or dont have the patience for it brand it with the "kiddy" stick.

2) WoW is played by all ages. I know 12 year olds that play it and i know 45 year olds that play it. In fact i'd wager the average age of a WoW player is at least 21, if not higher.

3) I wont be buying Madden anytime soon. I'm not an american so the sport doesn't appeal to me in the slightest...and i'm not a fan of EA's yearly sports franchises regardless.

Oh and i really dont understand what this comment war is for btw. I mean we're not even slightly talking about halo, or this halo beverage that we came here to discuss. I just proclaimed my dislike for a game and i've got rabid fanboys all over me within minutes.

Oh, and using incorrect puncuation, capital letters and repeated exclamation points really makes you sound really composed, coherent and mature.

Checking back in on this mad drama cos i got shitall else to do.

1) I didn't call anybody a nerd. Quote me where i used that word. And i'd fully consider myself a "nerd" or "geek" anyway. And like that dude said, we're all sitting reading comments on a gaming console blog. I defy anybody to be reading this right now and not basically be a "nerd".

2) So the reason i dont like madden is because i'm a foreign person who hates america? No. Its just not a sport that even exists in my country, so i have no interest in it at all. Same way as i dont have an interest in baseball or lacrosse. Same reason that for every copy of madden in britain, theres 1000 copies of fifa. Its a different country with different tastes.

3) I dont have many games for my 360 at the moment as i usually buy games, play them, then sell them on. I only keep games that i really really love. Check my gamertag if you're really that bored - "cheesebanana"

I'm a 25 year old, scottish, nerd. I play games all day and i dont hate america as somebody suggested. I dont hate any console as i own them all, and even before i owned them all, i didn't look down on the others. The "console war" is freekin retarded and i'd be the first to tell you that.
