XBLA getting Sonic the Hedgehog 2 this week

Microsoft just announced this week's Xbox Live Arcade title and even though we aren't being treated to a twofer we do get the loveable blue hedghog Sonic. This Wednesday, September 12th Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be available for download off the XBLA for 400 Microsoft points. Even better than the 400 point pricetag is the fact that Sonic 2 will feature not only two player local co-op, but it will also include two player online co-op too. And you know how much we love our online co-op ... oh joy!

Excellent 200 quick and easy achievement points on the way, and a hell of a time while getting them aswell, and for just 400 MS points! Bargain!

Sonic 1 I didn't buy, but Sonic 2 I definitely will, my favorite Sonic.

This Game, i think, is the best of the series. Casino Nights was a great level.
Sunset Rider's was also a good Genesis game that would be good on XLBA.

Looks good, but I have this game both on the Genesis (still works) and on most computers in the house.
However, I can't wait until some day they release Sonic CD. Hope they're listening.

Now I dont feel so bad for throwing away my Sega Genesis thirty years ago. I've been redemed and I can get back to finally finishing Sonic 2.

xbox live co-op? erm no...sadly not, only xbox live vs mode sadly...
