Famitsu gives Halo 3 high marks

And so the Halo 3 game reviews begin to trickle in ... well, at least from Japan. The extremely popular and oh so "it" Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has successfully completed Bungie's masterpiece, contemplated their experience, weighed the good and the bad and published their review. Famitsu gave Halo 3 a 10, 9, 9, 9, which friends, is a pretty darn good review especially from the FPS hating land of Japan.

We also heard that any Halo 3 reviews coming out of the US or Europe are embargoed and cannot be published until this Sunday, so we'll just have to wait a few days and see what our fellow reviewers think of the game. But with Famitsu giving the game such high praise we aren't the least bit worried about Halo 3 being a dud. Wait, what are we saying! Who in their right mind ever would think Halo 3 was going to be a dud or anything less than spectaculicious, Bungie just doesn't roll like that. We apologize for even mentioning the word "dud" and "Halo 3" in the same sentence, let alone the same blog post. Eesh, we feel dirty. Time to go cleanse ourselves of these impure thoughts.
