Second Bomberman Live Bomb-up pack revealed

Just like the first Bomberman expansion pack, Bomb-up 2 will cost a semi-cheap 250 Microsoft points and include ten new characters including Destructoid's mascot, Bomberella and El Bombito, as well as two new arenas (Medieval Times and Full Tilt) and a new gametype mode called Bomb Shelter in which players can hide in specific areas staying safe from explosions. The expansion pack will also add two new leaderboards into the mix for those who are all about proving their worth.
There's no doubt about it, Bomberman Live is a great Xbox Live experience and a fantastic multiplayer game and the Bomb-up Pack 2 expansion pack can only make the good times continue longer. We always welcome new DLC, but are always watching for the cost versus content proposition and this Bomberman expansion looks to be well worth it. Bomberman go!

I really enjoy these lil expansion pack. I've created a pimp for my guy by combining the king's robe with the gangster hat and johnny depp 'fear & loathing' sunglasses w/ cigarette.
...now dont rip me off! hehe.

Lol that's awesome nerrrd. I just go for the mexican pride boxer w00t! haha
Question for anyone that can answer, when my guests try to customize their bomberman with the pack that I purchased, how come it doesn't save the permutation? It allows them to choose the "new" customes, but it goes back to the default bomberman. Are the new customes only available to player 1?

Toro, someone has figured a work-around for that, if you bear with me I can get you a link

"Basically when i turn my console on with my controller, it automatically signs into my profile and signs into live. Then when i turn on my wifes controller i hit the xbox guide button and sign into her profile on there. Start up bomberman live and we both have access to our own costumes and settings. Also, i think playing online does'nt change anything either, besides her name being Indo Jimbo (1) or whatever."
"sign in your silver profiles (i.e. would-be guests) and go to the launch screen for Player Match. It will give you the chance to, again, sign into Xbox Live with an account. Picking "Guest" there patches you through as one, with your local profile's custom bomber. "
hope that helps. i haven't tried it yet.

Destructoid's Mascot?!?! That's pretty awesome that a gaming blog's mascot is now a character in a video game. Why hasn't this blown up the internets? I know it's a "rival" blog and all but for the sake of a footprint in gaming history and gaming journalism that's pretty big news.

Sweet, Bomberman Live is a great example on how to maintain an XBLA title. Great features out of the "box" and then frequent updates that add many new features and whatnot on the cheap as well.. 250 points, not bad at all.
Turboman @ Sep 20th 2007 8:18AM
That's a lot of stuff for only 250 points. Other games should learn something from this. :p I picked up pack 1 and I will be picking this up probably too.
