New Halo novel Contact Harvest debuts Oct. 30th

Sergeant A.J. Johnson is easily one of Halo's most iconic characters, and we're sure fans will be delighted to know that the latest novel in the franchise centers around the charismatic character. Oh, and we should probably mention that the book is officially debuting next month. The book will be released on October 30th to be exact, one day shy of Halloween, though so far we have failed to make any significant connections to ghosts and goblins.The novel is penned by Bungie lead writer Joeseph Staten. Halo fans will also recognize Staten as the voice actor for many of the series grunts. In a way, players have been killing Staten for years. We wonder how he feels about that. We're sure he'll feel better if everyone buys the book.

I miss the way the old Grunt's talked in Halo 1.
"Oh no you shot me dead!" Was one of my favorites, they made killing things fun. What would we do without Staten? The new Grunts go down a little funnier though, and I think they are stupider to tell the truth. *Evil smile* Makes mowing them down easier.
Has any one else noticed the treatment from the Covenant vs. humans when you are playing co-op? The humans all address Master Chief, while the others address the "Monster" or traitor. I know, off topic by a lot, but I found it interesting.

i've noticed humans saying "oh the arbiter" etc.

Speaking of the grunts, after killing one of them, another yelled out "You killed my best friend." It made me feel kind of bad for him, but then I remembered he invaded my planet, so I shot him.

it was good times, kinda disaapointed with the character models tho especially Johnson and Miranda Keyes. they actually made them worse looking than 2!
