Tonight, at around 7:59PM eastern, Microsoft will be flipping the XBLA discount switch to the "off" position and the week long
25% discount on select Arcade games will expire. So, if you've been procrastinating tonight is your last chance to pick up
Frogger or
Hardwood Spades each for 300 Microsoft points or
Bankshot Billiards 2 for 900 points. True penny pinchers would have already taken advantage of the savings, but you can still be an honorary penny pinching member if you make your 25% off Arcade purchase while the gettings are good.

Teh weak. Bankshot is still too expensive!
When there's a discounted game that I want that costs 400 MSP, I'll get it.

25% sucks. Call me when it's 50% or over.
xenocidic @ Oct 2nd 2007 1:52PM
did we ever figure out why X3F's 2nd (unsourced) article on this told us it was in fact going to be 50% off?
Tony @ Oct 2nd 2007 2:07PM
Apparently they were 50% off briefly on accident. It was never an official move.
Grant @ Oct 2nd 2007 2:13PM
i wouldn't give more than 100 points for frogger, and wouldn't pay for bankshot. period.
these games suck, a sale isn't going to move them unless its a higher discount.

@tony , thanks for confirming, i sort of inferred that when I went back to the 2nd article and read the comments. i guess X3F staff was reporting right from their XBLM blade.
too bad I missed the brief window of 50% goodness !
