Teh most amazing plasma grenade stick ... evar

Halo 3's saved films feature is one of the single coolest things implemented into a game to date, especially when you need video proof of the most amazing grenade stick ever. Embedded above is the video of BlackShadowMist's most amazing plasma grenade stick that made our jaw drop and left us with only one descriptive adjective ... amazing. Just picture it. You're in The Pit, see a sniper on the turret tower, so you launch a grenade through the air in desperation, you then see your grenade miss the sniper's body, but are overjoyed to watch your plasma land in the gravity lift behind the tower and get flung into the air only to land on said sniper's head. What more can we say than ... amazing.

It actually missed him then traveled up and stuck on him wow, kinda like the plasma pistols in halo 2 as long as your sort of close it will hit I guess.

Yeah the 2 for one sniper shot seems to be common. I've done it a couple of times. I was celebrating that I stuck a guy in his gravity hammer. On the very tip of it, so it looks like he's carrying a blue torch. Then I saw this... Saved films FTW!

I've been sacrificing oddball and king of the hill matches to try and get that sword triple kill achievement and an ascetic helmet. It's all about luck. :(

I'm about to pull a skeptic and normally I hate that guy, but...

What do you think the chances are that this was staged?

In the video the main guy and the extra red and blue guys all have plasma grenades, in fact so does the guy that dies since he explodes like he does. So it could be that they stocked up for the purpose of making the film.

Seems like if you set your mind to using the gravlift, it'd only be a matter of getting 3 of your friends into a player match and then getting the positioning right.

Sorry to be like that, but it's kinda how I see it. Even so it was a great feat of skill if not chance.

I know you'r more of a shadowrun fan, but seriously, you have to admit, you're the minority when it comes to xbox fans. Most xbox fans became xbox fans because of Halo. I don't find it unreasonable to have Halo oriented items posted on xbox360fanboy.

I understand you aren't selling anything. I'm as calm as a cucumber. It's just that when you market a service like you have in a comments section and it contains ANY mention on gaming for money it just feels a bit suspect. We are all loving us some Halos right now (well maybe not xenocidic he's waiting for new Shadowrun maps) but they offer you a way to submit news, just use that and not repeat yourself over and over again.

I know what you mean about the double kill with a single shot. I have an screenshot as well showing me scoring one. The thing is you can see by the trail it didn't come close to hitting the second guy. Shot bounced in front of him and went low between his feet.

These saved films are going to offer up so much crazy stuff. It makes you try some crazy stuff every now in again in hopes of scoring a great video.

I like this idea. If a thousand monkeys typed for a thousand years they'll come up with Shakespeare quality play(Schrodinger's cat is another example). All Bungie did was give us a way to record a thousand monkeys playing Halo. Every few thousand games something spectacular is bound to happen. Of course, there are always the pro teams, which I look forward to seeing as well.

Then there are staged films, but hey, why let that ruin it for everyone?

a similar example to an advance theory that if i a cat is put in an impervious box that no one can get into and no one can measure the status of the cat in any way whatsoever because if they did they would change the status of the cat,

those are two extremely differnt thoughts and are not alike in the slightest that i know of
in fact if there is some similarity at all between those two theories then i would love to hear it
