Assassin's collector's edition pics sneak in

The crew over at Xboxygen dug up and posted a few pictures of the Assassin's Creed collector's edition, the one that features one sexy statue of the main character Altair. As you can see in the picture above, the packaging is reminiscent of the BioShock collector's edition where the figure, game and extra goodies are all conveniently boxed together. Thumbs up to that. And then there is the Altair figure in all its Assassin's Creed figure glory (larger picture here). Thumbs up to the Altair figure for being so damn cool. He'll fit right in with the home we made for our Big Daddy figure.

clearly the studios are getting the hint - without some kind of figurine or non-wearable helmet, we aren't going to be ponying up extra dough for Collector's editions with just crappy art books and behind-the-scenes DVDs anymore!

i just hope that his drill arm doesn't fall off in shipping. err....

I still haven't gotten my Big Daddy box or art book, so I'm wondering if they are even going to bother making a happy customer out of me. Not going to get this if it's gamestop exclusive because of what happened to my Big Daddy.

well im about a 95% YES that i'll be buying this even though my Big Daddy was broken. But I cant fault 2K-Irrational for that. I know i'll receive my fixed Big Daddy sooner or later. hopefully sooner though.

@xeno- youre right. i dont think ill be picking up collecter edition games unless it has something more then Behind-the-Scenes DVD's. i usually dont even watch them.

You mean the figure that I, and many other friends of mine, got with our collector's edition that was in perfect shape?

The same one that, should there be a problem with it, 2K is replacing (with a bonus art book)?

And yes, I do agree that this should have been a figurine of Jade Raymond and should have also included a swimsuit calendar of Jade.

That would guarantee the sale for me. In fact, I'd hit up EB THE SECOND I got home.

Just got back from Best Buy and on the back of the pre-order box, it does indeed say 3-inch figurine. But I also agree that it looks too detailed to be that small, so I'm not entirely sure about the limited edition...

Someone should do some investigative reporting and get to the truth about the size of this. And by investigative reporting I mean call and ask. Seriously do a follow up post if you find out.

Hold on one sec guys. Im just gonna call up Jade and see what my Sweety tells me. If i can recall last night correctly, while having our usual candlelight dinner, right before we slipped into bed, which of course we always do, it was a 12in statue. But let me call up my babe just to double check.
