Xbox 360 stencils + pumpkin = great Halloween

Posted over at Xbox.com is a set of four downloadable Xbox 360 themed pumpkin carving stencils to aid in creating the ultimate 360 pumpkin. The stencils feature such iconic 360 themes like the ring of light, the infamous "X" logo and the silhouette of our white console. Don't think you have the talent to make a 360 pumpkin? Well, you're wrong, it's actually quite easy. Simply choose your favorite design, download it, print it off, cut it out, slap it on your orange gourde of choice, hollow out said gourde and start cutting out the black stuff. Then all you have to do is light a candle inside and voila! You now have Xbox 360 Halloween pride. Just be leery of the dreaded red ring of death ... it's reported that Halloween brings four times the amount of red ring failures than normal. Boo!

Now if only I can find a way to turn the inside walls of my pumpkin a bright xbox green...

Light it green? No, light it red. I want people to be scared. If there is one things as a 360 I fear it is the RRoD.

How long until someone turns that 4 lights design into a red ring pumpkin?

I'm already on the RROD - just have to figure out how to make the outside rings glow red (the three obviously) while making the center green...
saran wrap isn't exactly a good plan, and if I scrape them (instead of cutting) I could try painting, but I'm not certain the candlelight would shine through the right color

Just tape a big plastic up behind the power symbol and have a green LED candle in there. Then place the Red LED candle like normal. The cup will stop the green light from getting out.

Sorry guys, I made a RRoD pumpkin last year for Hallowe'en. Stealing my idea is quite flattering. Use a set of red Christmas lights, preferably not LED. Stick those lights in a glass jar, and don't leave them on all night, just long enough for the trick or treaters.

OK.
I made the X logo.
I'll take a pic of it when it gets a candle.
