Brand new RvB mini-series headed to XBLM

In their latest blogging update, Burnie mentions that in the weeks to come, a new RvB mini-series entitled "Red vs Blue: Recovery One" will be releasing to the internets and onto the XBLM. "Recovery One" will mirror that of their "Out of Mind" project, but with new characters and it is going to officially be their final Halo 2 project (fighting ... back ... sadness and tears.) Burnie promises more information on "Recovery One" in a few days, but until then you should make the jump and check out their latest video that they made for the 2007 European Machinima Festival. We can only describe it as ... worldly.

Cool! Free, I hope. :)
I was just watching the Out of Mind again the other day and noticed some sort of continuity error! When it does the "10 years ago" or whatever, why is it in Halo 2? I thought Halo was the present and Halo 2 was way into the future... Hm.

These guys are like Ozzy Ozbourne. He says it's the last tour, but somehow he's always out there.

Why don't they make it with Halo 3? They have the pan-cams built in and a way to remove guns from the screen of the player.

A ditty I composed about one of the greatest games ever.
HALO 3
Red vs. Blue, engage in a fight,
Both teams purpose: to test their might.
They begin to unload their ammo,
While engaging active cammo.
Screaming over their microphones,
They watch hopelessly as their Spartan gets pwned.
Lucky for blue, they got the sword,
Lucky for red, he was the noob-lord.
Meanwhile some launched from the man cannon,
But would get sniped, by some chick named Shannon.
Red team has captured the flag,
That dude with the long gamer tag.
He must be good, he got to the warthog,
Now I need to go update my blog.
Thus, the perilous journey begins,
Deciding who will lose and who will win.
Power sliding through foes, the flag a victory banner,
Red celebrated to soon; they were crushed by a gravity hammer.
Lo and behold, 30 seconds had passed,
Red’s hopes of victory merely a thing of the past.
For blue flag had returned, to it’s home base,
Surrounded blue joyous tears streaming down each face.
Little did they know, red planned a second wave,
Hiding in the shadows of a Valhallian cave.
So it began, reds suicidal mission,
To beat blue back, into submission.
Step one was to sabotage tanks, into a smoldering wreck,
Next was to mine the place, blasting it all to heck.
It took far too long,
For blue to respawn,
So red had gained the upper hand,
Perfect, Just as they planned.
Then sniping stragglers one by one,
Destroying blue team was oh so fun.
Unfortunate blue,
Didn’t know what to do,
All they could do, was scream and run.
So they fled into the hills,
Thinking of new ways, to score some kills.
The battle lives on, even as we speak,
Sucks to be them, their future looks bleak.
