Exit and Battlestar Galactica on XBLA

Ah, Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday. When you wake up you can just smell the fresh games. This week we've got two new entries for our favorite downloadable service, Exit and Battlestar Galactica. The latter provides sci-fi fans with a much needed something (or so we're told), while the former gives us a stylish, old school logic puzzler (oddly described as "pazzle action" in its dashboard description). So, you can either blast the Cylons to hell, or you can help various strangers escape there precarious predicaments. The choice is yours. We should probably note that either choice will set you back 800 MS Points.

I LOVE "pazzle style action" games!
I'm stuck at work today, anyone at home able to download the Battlestar game and give some impressions?

I've been looking forward to that Galactica thingie. Looks like it could be cool.

Hope it's nothing like WC:Arena. Personally, that was a HUGE dissapointment for me.
Is that screenie from Exit?
Pazzle = Puzzles with PZAZZ!!

Latter/former, gents, not latter/latter.

Battlestar is okay... I'd not personally buy it. It's a relatively simple fly around and shoot the enemies type game, based on the demo. It did seem significantly better than Arena, to me at least.
EXIT is pretty awesome. I've played it on the PSP before, but never bought it. I think it's worth the money, although I wish the guy moved a little faster (even if you CAN run).

i appreciate X3F posting when XBLA games are avaialble but why can't you guys take 10 minutes to download them and then give the demo a whirl for 5-10min to give us a little more detail? it seems simple to do a quick play and give us initial impressions. oh well. i'll just download them and find out for myself.

All I can smell is the fire in San Diego. New games are good though.

"their precarious predicaments" not "there precarious predicaments"
i'm sorry to be nitpicky, but come on! you're journalists, aren't you?

BIG +1 on that. though us readers usually chime in with comments, it'd be nice to know what the x3f team's first impressions are

Am I the only one very disappointed in Battlestar? Exit looked retarded, but I ended up playing for 2 hrs straight!

Exit's only problem is that the controls are lacking on the 360. BG is just pure garbage. WC:A was better, and I hated that.

I agree with U on that comment. Battle star is weak and WC arena was better but still a let down. I cant believe I bought WC. It is one of my top 3 regretable purchases right next to rush n attack and marathon.

exit bored the shit out of me, i really can't imagine why anyone would spend money on something like that. The puzzles aren't all that hard either. I personally like a little action in my puzzles, but exit is a snore fest.
