Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball confirmed for XBLA, zombies revealed

Blazing Lizard has announced that Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball is headed to Xbox Live Arcade. Sure, this isn't exactly surprising, but it's nice to get official confirmation. The game is scheduled to arrive in early 2008. In news that actually is a little surprising, Blazing Lizard has revealed a new team in Pirates Vs. Ninjas Dodgeball: zombies. You can find more details about the zombie team at IGN. We knew other teams were headed to the game, but we never ever considered zombies. We're happy about their inclusion (zombies improve any game), but we're still holding out for the lawyer team. They're not the most aggressive dodgeball players, but they're great at defense (ouch).

i can't wait for this game. btw, did anyone notice the zombie cheerleader's name is Clarice Lennett? did you catch the heroes reference for claire bennett? Forrest "Bones" MacAroy is a mix of the actor's name who played Dr. McCoy on Star Trek, Deforrest Kelly.

It was obvious! Pirates, Ninjas, Zombies are like the most talked creatures on the internet, and I can bet that the other team coming is Robots.

This game will probably suck like most of the other tossed-off crap that is on XBLA. I used to get excited for Wednesday, so many missed opportunities for XBLA. Not only that, but when I took my Xbox on vacation with no internet connect my dozens of paid-for games were mostly reverted to demos. Man I was pissed. Yes I'm lame for bringing my Xbox on vacation.
