Sunday ads bring out the crazy CoD4 deals

There's lots of gaming deals this weeks, so let's hop right into it. The big new release this Tuesday is Call of Duty 4 and the top gaming retailers are all offering up the goods. If you purchase CoD4 at Target they'll give you a $5 gift card, Best Buy will give you a free Behind Enemy Lines DVD as part of their exclusive CoD4 Ultimate Box Set and they're also offering a $20 instant savings if you purchase the game with a 360 wireless headset. But we think the CoD4 deal crown goes to Circuit City this week, because they're going crazy nuts giving away a poster and Call of Duty 3 with purchase.Other deals you want? Okay ... let's keep going. Best Buy's other deal is a free $10 gift card with F.E.A.R. Files, but that's about it from them. Over at Circuit City this week you can pick up a $29 Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary, a $39 Gears of War (PC) and a $39 Virtua Fighter 5. That's not all, you can also get a $10 gift card with TimeShift and a $39 wireless Xbox 360 controller too. Oh, and we didn't know this ever existed, but you can Cars, Open Season and Fuzion Frenzy 2 all bundled together on one game disc for $29. Free COD3 w/ purchase of COD4... bad deal for me. Nearest Circuit City is an hour away and would waste more gas than the $7 trade in that COD3 is worth.

If Best Buy's deal has the game and DVD in the same case, I won't buy it. If I can go pick up the Game, then they throw in the DVD, I'll get it.

only wal-mart selling at midnight though, unless you live in bigger city, so i gotta go there at midnight and hope they have collectors, or get at wal-mart and then circuit city deal and return to walmart.
ALSO THE FUZION FRENZY, CARS, OPEN SEASON is not on one disc, but a bundle of all three for 29.99, i saw the other day and was like, 3000 points for 30 bucks, but trade in value not worth it..

The Collectors addition of COD4 is not worth it ppl lol it only comes with a DVD that has nothing special on it at all.
So for 10 extra bucks you get a DVD woot...no gamerpics no themes not extra maps...nothing..
Heck I love COD4 and I played the beta but 70 bucks for a DVD not worth it. And yeah the ESA bundle is not 1 game disc it's 3 and it's been around since Oct. 31st at Gamestop.
So save your money and get the reg addition and use that $10 for MS points when they do release come new maps and stuff.

Gamestop (At least in my area) is doing a speed shipment on COD4 to have it in stores and sell able on monday.

same here. im in the atlanta area and got a call this afternoon saying to pick mine up tomorrow, which is usually around noon when ups comes. so ill have a head start on half of ya.

I just picked up NHL 08 for $29.83 at Walmart in Napanee, ON. The shelf still said $64.83, but their flyer showed it and it scanned at $29.83. Not sure if they spotted the error yet.

the cars, fuzion frenzy, and open season is NOT on one disc. it's the ESA bundle. all three games are bundled together on 3 (not 1 disc).
