Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, best XBLA game ever?

More XBLA news today, as we bring you a fresh trailer for The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. One of the two winning titles in the Dream-Build-Play contest held earlier this year, the game looks to be a hack-n-slash shoot 'em up with elements of Guitar Hero thrown in to boot. Yes, you read that correctly. The 2D action game features katanas, chainsaws, guns, and at least one guitar. How exactly the guitar sections -- in which players match button inputs with corresponding prompts -- meld with the game proper we have no idea, and honestly don't care. All we know is it looks like glorious, violent fun. Check out the video to see what we mean.

Ill def be getting this it looks great I'm so sick of the remade & kiddie stuff they keep bringing to XBLA tho some are pretty fun its time for something like this to come out and hopefully set a marker for what we want in the XBLArcade which is more guns, swords and rock-n-roll

wow that guitar solo was pretty awesome.
it reminds me of the Crow...
I loved how it picked up.
and a little GH tribute. Love it!
Looks like I'll be picking up this game! Samurais, zombies, guitars... bad ass!

They don't talk about Castle Crashers because even when it was shown way back it was announced that it wasn't coming out until 2008.

This game looks neat, although I kind of hope the meter graphics change.

meh the game doesn't look that great. sorta looks repetitive:/ everything is bland, and the guitar scenes are just smashin buttons...Unless you liked playing guitar hero with your 360 controller you might like this...Who knows though. I'll give this a try when it comes out;)

Can't see the video for some reason though.

@13: I've hammered the GHIII demo (full game not out till end of Nov over here) using nothing BUT the controller.
