Halo 3 bugs, DLC and matchmaking updates

A new Halo 3 matchmaking "hopper" update will be rolling out sometime in the next few days with changes a plenty. The most notable being Lone Wolves getting a swords gametype, oddball frequency being reduced and games increasing to six players. Also, Team Slayer will be getting Guardian and Valhalla maps, Social Doubles has been removed and a new eight player max social Rocket Race has been added (X3F Live memories ...)
Other than matchmaking changes, Bungie says they're looking into the Halo 3 melee problems, screenshot uploads being slow and armor permutation unlock bugs, all of which are hella' annoying. Bungie also officially revealed the new Bungie.net Heatmaps feature and says they consider it to be in the "beta" stage and will tweak it accordingly. Finally, we've been promised more concrete and less code-namage Halo 3 DLC details in the weeks ahead, so keep your ears perked up for that. Nice stuff. And what about the announcer's voice being basically useless for languages other than English? The volume is way too low, please Bungie listen.. *sigh*

Noooo! I loved having only 5 people in lone wolves. It seems like with 6 people in a match, the person that wins is the person that seeks out and kills the weakest player the most. I think Bungie even said something along the lines of this as the reason for making it 5 players in the first place.

So they're going to keep ignoring the voice glitch where, regardless of your connection speed or NAT settings, a persons voice will lag uncontrollably until 11:20 during a match?
That's the only thing people I play with care about. Fix it, please, Bungie.

Why remove social doubles? My friend is way better than me and is ranked really high, so we like playing social so we don't have to play all strategic and smart. Seems like that removal will be a downer.

Fix the number of maps on Team Slayer. I played for about 3 hours last night, and it was essentially a rotation of 5 maps - Isolation, High Ground, The Pit, Snowbound, and Contruct, with an occasional other map thrown in. Yes, granted a few maps are too big for 4 v 4 slayer, but still... Last Resort only showed on Shotty Snipers. Fix the MAP rotation. Heck, put all the maps in - that's what VETO is for!

They need to fix the voice of Master Chief when he falls or dies in
the campaign and multiplayer. Atleast make it sound something like
him. It is just annoying. You had the guy in the studio so why not
get some audio cuts of him sounding like he is falling and dying

5 players is perfect for lone wolves.

ZOMG Rocket Race FTW!!! This was really the one thing I wanted from Halo 3, being that it's my favorite game type, yet so hard to orginize. It may not be totally custom games in matchingmaking, but it's getting their!

Maybe I just had bad luck but when I was playing Social Doubles with a friend, every single match had the opposite team not doing anything. They just stood there as if they lost their connection. Or the connection was lost.
Gave up on it after a while and tried some of the other social playlists. Most of which had parties being split across teams and so we had people betraying until they were booted off which booted off most of the other team.
