The LIVE is 5IVE branding is far from over with the Microsoft marketing team releasing a set of six free dashboard themes to the XBLM.The free themes include Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Mech Assault, Halo 2, Ghost Recon 2, Gears of War and an Xbox LIVE is 5IVE branded theme. But as with anything free, the production quality on a few of these is lacking, especially the LIVE is 5IVE and Wolfenstein themes. Watch out for their guide backgrounds ... eesh! Though, we must say that both the Halo 2 and Gears themes are actually quite enjoyable. Anyhoo, all your free theme'age is listed under the "Xbox LIVE is 5IVE" heading on the Marketplace, so go and get your download on.

@2 Yes sir, all the themes are new. Some smell, some are good, but I can guarantee that all are new.

I love me some free themes. :) I really like the artwork on the new Gears theme. I'm using that with the Carbon trim and the Smoke guide background. :)
Aside from the few unfortunate guide backgrounds, the quality of these themes is quite suprising. Usually these free things are pretty slapped together and plastered with logos. The fact that the "LIVE IS 5IVE" logo isn't anywhere on any of the game themes is even more suprising.

Well I logged in to Live this morning and none of this content exists. I live in Europe, and I don't think this celebration is happening.

@9 Yea it is, check under the themes and gamerpics section, its right down the bottom (in the UK anyways)
Also you guys left it out but Carcassonne is free for 2day, maybe a few others, but def 2day

How do you get Carcassone. I went to the Arcade and it still said 800 ms points. Do you have to go somewhere different to get it free, or have they now updated it. UK
