Avatar: 2 minutes + B button = 1000 Gamerscore
If you're in the need for a quick Gamerscore boost, then look no further than the rental shelves and a child friendly game called Avatar The Last Airbender: The Burning Earth (that's one long title). This game is a Gamerscore whore's dream, because you can not only get all 1000 Gamerscore with little effort, but it literally takes less than two minutes to do so. We're serious, just look at the game's pitiful achievements. All you'll have to do is pretty much run into a corner, tap the B button about fifty times and in around two minutes you've got yourself 1000 Gamerscore. The hardest part will be surviving the game's awful cut-scenes, but you're a trained Gamerscore warrior, so we think you'll be fine.

My Xbox controller didnt come with a B button!
monkeymonkeymonkey @ Nov 18th 2007 2:38PM
LOL. Do they have achievement glitches like this in other games?
Sid @ Nov 18th 2007 2:43PM
The sad thing is, it's not a glitch.
Jonah Falcon @ Nov 18th 2007 2:43PM
Not since launch when the 2K games and EA Sports games had 5 achievements for an easy 1000.

yeahhhh but then you have that on your record... even having king kong is pretty bad. and yes i'm guilty of that.
Jonah Falcon @ Nov 18th 2007 2:48PM
Yes, but King Kong was a launch title and had some level of entertainment.
violenceinhd @ Nov 18th 2007 3:01PM
If I see anybody on my friends list who does this who isn't below the age of 13, I'm deleting them instantly.
Fucking idiot achievement whores.

Ah sorry! I was just saying that this might be one of the worst games in videogame history!
I actually think the developer did this on purpose so at least some (stupid a$$) achievement whores would go out and rent/buy this game!
Cheers

The guys motto is "MS is stupid".
bad game on a 360, must be microsoft's fault.
Hoffer @ Nov 18th 2007 3:43PM
I didn't think MS would allow a game like this. MS has to certify games. I'd think achievements like this would not pass. Maybe it really is up to the developer.
h0mi @ Nov 18th 2007 3:48PM
HAhahahahah i am so renting this game now.
Grant @ Nov 18th 2007 3:59PM
"11. The guys motto is "MS is stupid".

Actually, i think the fact that he bought a 360 and gave MS another sale while he hates them, would make him the stupid one.
Grant @ Nov 18th 2007 4:02PM
i don't see why people would play these terrible games just to get gamer points. Does the size of your ePeen really make you the cool kid on your friends list?
i am guilty of going straight for the gamer points when i get a game, but thats just because it gives me something to aim for in games in an age where most games don't have leaderboards or scoring.
Morgon @ Nov 18th 2007 4:03PM
Actually, he doesn't have a motto - that was his GamerTag

MDJ2010 @ Nov 18th 2007 4:05PM
I am somewhat of an achievement whore, but more in the sense of taking great pride in the difficulty of my games' achievements. Anyone who plays this for the 1000 is a pretty boring person.
Fun first, gamerscore second!!!!
quesadia @ Nov 18th 2007 5:00PM
i saw this vid yesterday and am disgusted
I too will delete anyone on my friends list who plays this for the gamerscore
muffyandfluffy @ Nov 18th 2007 5:28PM
i will delete anyone on my friends list and if i see anyone has played this that is on my friends list i am filing a complaint and giving them a bad player review
Adam @ Nov 18th 2007 5:39PM
you guys are all taking this way too far. If someone wants to use this to get an easy 1000, then what's the big deal? If I'm ever at the video store and see this game on the shelf, there's a possibility I might grab it just to get the points. And I won't be ashamed of it, because it's not like I'm cheating somehow to get the points.
Maybe after I do that, I'll have no one left on my friends list because I played a game for some easy points. Oh teh No's!
Jon @ Nov 18th 2007 5:54PM
@20 Oh no, we won't have any eFriends anymore, what shall we do?? Dumbasses. Who cares.
teddings @ Nov 18th 2007 5:58PM
@People threatening to delete people from their friend list for playing this game:
If you're willing to delete someone from your friend list because they have played this game, why are they on your friend list in the first place?
Jess @ Nov 18th 2007 6:10PM
@19 I could understand deleting a person but even going as far as filing a complaint and giving them bad rep.? that's just going too far.No wonder the rep. system is so messed up,for the fact that people like you give bad rep. for the most dumbest reasons.Plus you're wasting Microsofts time by making them review your complaint, let them go after the REAL cheaters/hackers.
Maiq The Liar @ Nov 18th 2007 6:17PM
In case you are looking for this game, it's not out yet. Release date is tomorrow.
Tony @ Nov 18th 2007 6:22PM
I was actually considering renting it since, you know, the show is actually pretty good even for people well past 13 years old.
Glad I'm not friends with some of you, but I guess it's not a surprise.

I can't say I really achieved anything by just playing a game for easy points.
I'll stick to playing and achieving points to games that I like, thank you.
DjDATZ @ Nov 18th 2007 10:48PM
well im glad i have none of you idiots that are threatening to deleted friends on my friends list...you guys are true trooper idiots.
Ren @ Nov 18th 2007 11:30PM
@31: You best watch yourself, boy. Before I get mad and delete the friends off your friends list......FOR GOOD.
DjDATZ @ Nov 19th 2007 12:04AM
go ahead ren...i have a copy of it as of yesterday anyways. lol nub.
DjDATZ @ Nov 19th 2007 12:08AM
let me tell you right now ren...if you do...YOU better watch yourself.
Ren @ Nov 19th 2007 12:36AM

secretsquirrel @ Nov 19th 2007 12:56AM
why bother to play this game.i see a pedo
track2 @ Nov 19th 2007 8:41AM
That has got to be the most unimaginative list of achievements I've ever seen in a 360 game. Even if the title is just for the younger set, I think little kids can do more than button mash.
Now if you want to see an awesome list of achievements, just look at Guitar Hero III.
xenocidic @ Nov 19th 2007 8:45AM
damn, CSI: Hard Evidence held the 'easiest 1000 achievement point' title for such a short time =(
Gemini Ace @ Nov 19th 2007 8:56AM
I'm adding this to my GameFly right now! And I don't care if it's score whoring. Delete me if you don't like it! Muahaha!
DjDATZ @ Nov 19th 2007 10:00AM
Nope Ren, I didn't. I actually updated my gamertag spreadsheet on Saturday as I added a lot of friends Thursday night and Friday morning. I'm at 99 friends on my friends list, so I figure I'll have to start eliminating some of them soon enough...So best keep track of who I have.
However, even if I didn't have a copy, I know the 10-15 gamers that I play with most often and that I'm good friends with, so it wouldn't matter either way. lol
xenocidic @ Nov 19th 2007 10:28AM
djdatz, i am SO taking you off my F/L !!!
you sack !
;>
Nathan @ Nov 19th 2007 11:48AM
He he he, deleting friends for getting easily points. I wonder, why not delete friends for playing King Kong? Really, they are points, and the whole point of them is to show you meat up with a challenge put in front of you. If the developer puts something like this in front of you, they it's THERE fault making it so easy. So people go out and unlock them in a few minutes, nothing wrong with the person in my book. Heck, I played Shrek the Third partly for achievements. I enjoyed it, but still. I played King Kong ONLY for the achievements. I tell people I did that when they ask, and no one cares as long as I didn't cheat the system. I don't want to cheat the system unless I didn't get something the right way. Like the play 5 in Spyglass Board games. I would so cheat the system for that, I played with a friend who never played before, he got it and asked why I didn't. Long discussion about that one.
ssuk @ Nov 19th 2007 11:48AM
"I am general thong"
come on, you were thinking it too...
CarpeD1em500 @ Nov 19th 2007 12:53PM
At 39...
Not even close. Some of the older sports games you could get their entire achievement list in ONE GAME. How long does one game of college hoops take? 2 hours? CSI actually required you to have a brain also...
Nevertheless once it drops in price I'll get both of these and send the kids one to my cousin once I'm finished with it. Sloppy seconds ftw...
I really hope this news wasn't too late to make the podcast...I know Knuckles will say something funny about it...
CarpeD1em500 @ Nov 19th 2007 12:55PM
oh and Im probably double posting but sorry....at 38:
GH3's achievements were awesome, until the news came out that you could glitch nearly every one of the more difficult ones.
And I'm sure even more glitches are in store for that game...eventually you'll probably be able to get 1000 GS without doing much of any work!
Ren @ Nov 19th 2007 3:23PM
