Ace Combat 6 DLC flies in on Wednesday

According to the guys over at 1UP, Namco will be releasing new Ace Combat 6 downloadable content to the Marketplace this Wednesday. The DLC will be five separate fighter planes (Su-33 Flanker, F16C, Mirage 2000-5, A-10A and a A-18F) each costing an unannounced amount of Microsoft points with one being a free download. Though, we're not exactly sure which jet will be offered for free. But no matter, new fighter jets are inbound this Wednesday, so try and ration your weekly allotment of jet fuel and stock up on snack cakes.

If you play the game, you'll see this information listed when you fire up campaign mode. I took a picture of it with my camera for ya'll. By the way, there are already a couple planes/paintskins available for AC6 on XBL, they go for 200 points a pop.

They make the plane look different and more importantly behave differently (Less munitions but more mobility for example). Can be worth it for your favorite plane.

...why would I spend my money on DLC for AC6 when I already have the plane that rapes all of them...The Nosferatu. Basically, that plane breaks the game. lol

PLUS, I don't use any of those planes anyways. My planes of choice are the F-14, F-15, F-22 and the Nosferatu. But with Mass Effect coming tomorrow, AC6, AC, COD4 and H3 will be sitting on my shelf collecting dust until I play through Mass Effect at least once. Then after that it'll probably be AC, then COD4, and then AC6. No games after Mass Effect on my horizon which means my wallet should have time to recover going into Jan/Feb. Plus I just got a nice phat paycheck, so I'll actually be able to afford X-mas along with games! :D

Oh, and according to the pic ZATZAi put up, the free plane will be the F-18, which I'll end up downloading cuz it's free. Although, notably, I haven't even used the first free "paint-job" that was released when the game came out...I downloaded it, but didn't bother playing with it because I found it disadvantageous to my playing style.
