Call of Duty 4 for $39 and other deals too
If you missed out on last week's Call of Duty 4 Black Friday gaming deals, then we highly advise you stop in at your local Circuit City this week. Starting today and all this week they're discounting Call of Duty 4 to $39. And if that's not reason enough to get you to purchase Infinity Ward's latest masterpiece then we don't know what will. Oh, and Tony Hawk's Proving Ground is $39 too. Also, if you're in the market for some cheap classics then check out Circuit City's $22 gaming deals that include Oblivion, Dead Rising, Fight Night Round 3 and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. And if that wasn't enough, they even have both the blue and pink wireless Xbox 360 controllers for $39 too. Still want more deals? Well, then make a movie purchase, get Superbad this week and score a free beanie at Circuit City or a free t-shirt at Best Buy. We all love McLovin ... McLovin FTW!

Cant afford any of this even if it was 20$(I could if it was 10$). So please for the minority like me stop posting these ads and making me feel bad about not owning these games.
The last deal I bit into was BioShock+Darkness combo cause I didnt have both those games. After that I had to go get myself a HDTV.(Thank you Vizio!!)

Don't worry you didn't get ripped off...Circuit City doesn't even have COD available. CC blows.
ryan @ Dec 3rd 2007 11:11AM
hey, you can take the ad from CC and go to best buy.
Connor @ Dec 2nd 2007 11:49AM

godammit i just bought cod 4 for $60
Metacore @ Dec 2nd 2007 1:45PM
All you have to do is return it(hope you kept the receipt or paid with a credit/debit card!) and buy it again.
I don't know if you can really just go to the same store, be like "here, give me my money" and then buy the game again(although who's gonna complain?), but you might wanna wait a day, or a shift change or something.
No problem fi you got it somewhere else though!
P.S.
I don't see anything about a beanie on Circuit City(Already have a shirt...), is it online only or in-store aswell. Did they just remove it?
Caleb Frost @ Dec 2nd 2007 7:19PM
Idk i think ill stick with it because Im underage and if i return it then get shafted at CC ill be f*ked
Ramifications @ Dec 3rd 2007 5:25PM
Most stores...if the price goes down within 2 weeks of you buying it...will give you the difference. Check with the store you bought it...See if they have a price guarantee
refinedsugar @ Dec 2nd 2007 1:09PM
Ah yes, the age old tradition of buying something and then complaining later when it magically becomes cheaper. You've been betrayed, it's not like you could have seen a price drop or a sale coming on down the road and you'd much rather play the waiting game if it means saving $20 than playing the actual game. A winner is you.
J8675309 @ Dec 2nd 2007 1:16PM
The game shows out of stock at all stores, but they are actually in-stock, call to make sure.
I got the 2nd to last copy at my store which showed out of stock online. Saw someone walking out with a copy too.
James @ Dec 2nd 2007 2:59PM
If it's printed in their circular, just go to BB and pricematch. Walmart will do it too.
ogvor @ Dec 2nd 2007 3:21PM
Argh! Circuit City always has better deals than Best Buy, but we don't have one in my town!
corbin @ Dec 2nd 2007 4:03PM
I got my copy of cod 4 price adjusted at best buy where I bought it. Maybe if you bought it within the adjustment period you guys might still be able to get your local best buy to do the same.
Tm1970 @ Dec 2nd 2007 4:47PM
Hey..Who cares if CC doesnt have COD4, did anyone here ever hear of PRICE MATCHING?? Usually its 110% of the other store's price..It a policy at Best Buy so go there, get the CC price plus and additional 10% off...F circuit city.
tbville @ Dec 2nd 2007 5:49PM
FYI, they didn't have any out at the CC in slc, they had them behind the counter at customer service, and I had to ask to find that out so make sure to ask someone who "knows".
BananaBoat @ Dec 3rd 2007 6:21AM
COD4 is worth the 60 dollars, so I'm not complaining too much about having bought it (now that it's cheaper). It's one of the few games I've bought so far this season that I generally thought was worth the money. Mass Effect had beta-esque bugs and graphical glitches, so that felt like a waste of money. Assassins Creed turned out to not be the second coming, so that was a waste of money. COD4 truly is Infinity Ward's masterpiece. It proves that they can do so much more than WWII.
Sinistar @ Dec 3rd 2007 8:51AM
$39.99 isn't $39. It's $40. Still a good deal, though.
Heffer @ Dec 3rd 2007 1:50PM
That kind of psychological pricing has gotten people for years.
For ppl wining that they bought COD4 on black friday, just go back to your local retailer and have them adjust it.
Standard practice for big name stores like Target, Circuit City, Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon.
Daniel @ Dec 3rd 2007 12:02PM
Will Walmart or Target price match CC? If I print the online sale....
joemc72 @ Dec 3rd 2007 2:39PM
Our CC is out, and my wife got it price matched at Wal-Mart with no issues. :)
