Video: Replica Halo plasma rifle gets reviewed
Back when it wasn't so friggin' cold (see July 2007), we mentioned a few new replica Halo Covenant weapons that were being produced by Jasman Toys which featured laser tag functionality. And, if you recall, they were (and still are) really, really, really expensive. But the price tag didn't deter GameVideos.com member OZZYO72088 from dropping his $140+ on the plasma rifle this Thanksgiving. And after just receiving his plasma rifle, OZZYO72088 decided to post a mini video review of it in all its Halo laser tag goodness. Watch as it overheats, lights up, makes lots of sounds and counts down the ammo. Yeah, it's an expensive Halo laser tag plasma rifle and yeah, it's awesome.

I'd prefer the H3 AR myself.

Pretty good quality, the reason he got it so fast is cause he's the only one who bought it.

Hey Dustin, remember when I said I couldn't see the "Reply" button?
Well I found out it doesn't work for IE6, but it does for IE7 and Firefox. Anyways thought I'd let you guys know, should anyone still be using IE6 anyways? heh

Is it just me, or is this thing not all THAT expensive sounding? I mean it's $120 with about $20 shipping. Considering other prop replicas are in the $300-500 range and don't actually DO anything but look cool, I could see spending $140 on it.
I have three Master Replicas Force FX lightsabers (Darth Maul's double, Anakin's and Luke's ROTJ), so I like my replicas with some sort of playability.
The only thing that could get costly is when more than one set is involved, but as a standalone prop to display I'd say this is relatively affordable.

I'd rather have the MA90 Shotgun myself..or a sword to display if it was made of see-through, glowing blue glass-like plastic. Maybe a Mauler!

That's pretty cool. Did he say how heavy it is? If I had $120 to drop I might consider getting one.

probably be better if it came with 2 guns so you could actually play. i guess you could strap the target to your cat, throw on the master chief cat helmet and your good to go though........
