Kane & Lynch demo breaks onto XBLM

Today's most controversial Xbox Live Marketplace offering: a demo for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men from Eidos. It's strange that Kane & Lynch, for many gamers, will be remembered more for the controversy surrounding it than for the game itself. Frankly, we're eager to see what all the fuss was about. In all honesty, we've been curious about the game since it was first revealed. The demo features one level of the single player campaign (co-op is also available). Most will recognize the level from the trailers in which Kane, Lynch, and his crew rappel down the side of a skyscraper. Give the demo a try and see if the game is worth remembering for the right reasons.

Briefly peeked at last weeks On The Spot. So fucking terrible. The host is tool. I hate the whole situation. I used to love watching On The Spot every week. Now the whole site is just garbage.

Been curious to see if the game is as bad as Jeff "Shovelface" said it is. May download the demo now that I've realized how aweful Frontlines feels.

I'm playing through the game right now and it's complete crap. The aiming mechanism is broken and your team's AI is for the most part, brain-dead. The multiplayer game, Fragile Alliance is interesting to play but tends to get repetitive since there are only a few maps. The GameSpot guy was being generous by giving it a 6.0.

I totally agree after getting it from gamefly i quickly sent it back. the controlls were clunky, the aiming system is one of the worst I've seen on the 360 and the story is lacking (It doesn't make me want to continue playing). During the lead up to this game I wanted it but luckly I cancelled my pre-order and put it towards Assassin's Creed (Much better game by far than KandL).

This game is flat out GARBAGE!!! I still cant believe I wasted my money on this!

It's not THAT bad as long as you play co-op. My buddy brought it over last weekend and we played through it. The action is decent and the story is ok. The only thing that I really didn't like is the shooting mechanics but after you get used to it it's really not that bad of a game.
