Major Nelson is community's Person of the Year
GameDaily's 2007 Persons of the Year awards just wrapped and for the first year ever they handed out a Reader's Choice award. GameDaily asked readers to tell them who in the gaming industry was worthy of the Reader's Choice honor and after tallying the votes Mr. Face of Xbox himself and Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry Hryb came out on top beating notables like Ken Levine and Jade Raymond. J/K No other person has as much face/ear time as this guy gets community-wise...maybe Frankie from Bungie is just as notable/noticeable. Actually that dude Geoff Keighley too...geez I guess it is an honor. Good going Major.

I actually met him. He's really cool. Couldn't believe he carried a DS on him while traveling. LOL. I asked him why they didn't have multi-chat on the 360 and he said if such a feature would be implemented, they would want it to be a bang feature. Such as be able to be in a party on the Dash board, join a game with that party and leave the game with that party.
