Rock Band: Radiohead, Weezer and Pretenders

Making a fashionably late appearance this week to the Xbox Live Marketplace is three new tracks to fill your Rock Band downloadable content void. Available individually (sorry, no track pack this week) for 160 Microsoft points is "My Iron Lung" by Radiohead, "Buddy Holly" by Weezer and a cover of "Brass in Pocket" as made famous by The Pretenders. Again, these tracks are not available in any discounted package, so if you want all three your Microsoft point balance will get set back 480. Which we must say sorta stinks. But we're only eying up "Buddy Holly" anyway, because the Weezer is the awesome.Today's Rock Band DLC

Weezer is the awesome. What in the hell is up with Activision? They have to see RB is killing them with DLC. Did anyone see the new list for GH3? WTF?

Guys, you're missing out if you're only interested in "Buddy Holly" - it's a good song, but it's the weakest of the three by far. "My Iron Lung" is Radiohead at their most rockin'.

Weakest of the three? I think anything with "as made famous by" on it takes it down a bunch of pegs.

I noticed these last night, and I looked for 20 minutes before I realized there was no 'pack.' WTF? My favorite pack so far, but I will not buy these until they combine them - hell, I can play them all on real instruments...but thats just not cool anymore these days... sigh...

I was really stoked for about 5 seconds as I read the titles of this post my eyes drifted to the pic and I thought Buddy Holly was DLC..... the actual legend. not the lame weezer song.

Some actual 50's and 60's rock would be interesting indeed, and quite possibly easier for amateur vocalists. I myself would like to see some 80's U2.

Iron Lung is a good song but way too slow for Rock Band. What's it going to take to get some AC DC or GnR??

the last 90 seconds of My Iron Lung is hard enough. That song kicks it at the end.
