So far, we've had mixed feelings about the Inside Xbox feature that was introduced in the latest Fall Update. After all, we already spend our entire day scouring the net for the latest and greatest Xbox news, and Inside Xbox hasn't exactly dropped any exclusive bombshells so far (although we did find out that National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is on Video Marketplace, score!). Undoubtedly, the most interesting feature is the ability for Inside Xbox to stream video. The potential use for this is pretty intriguing (think exclusive trailers, the next E3 press conference, etc.). However, we're pretty sure we've landed on the best use thus far: bloopers. The next time you get a chance, fire up the old 360 and check out the "Inside Xbox Bloopers" to see what goes into the little community video nuggets produced by TriXie and Major Nelson. You'll even get to hear Major drop some (censored) F-bombs! Now that's entertainment.
I like Inside Xbox, myself. Sometimes it's nice to just read a couple of things without having to visit a bunch of related sites. I don't always need up to the second Xbox news, personally lol.
Why can't Canadians simply be delivered this exact same content until Jade&Co. get things off the ground? I hate missing stuff like this, especially for no reason!
Inside Xbox is great for the majority of people who don't spend all day reading up on what's happening with the Xbox360. There are people who spend more time playing games then reading about them.
Inside XBOX is pretty unwatchable. I love Major's podcasts, but Inside is nothing more than a glorified infomercial. Surprisingly, Trixie's bit is the only segment worth watching. And the less Jeff Bell the better my day will be.
Yah, I don't think it was exceptionally funny. But for those who think Larry looks stupid doing the same thing over and over again, you have to understand how many different dos/don'ts people need to keep in mind when doing a video shoot like this. It's not easy, and multiple takes are the norm.

Yeah, Inside Xbox isn't anything great. And Christmas Vacation has been on the marketplace almost since it's inception.
The game hints are helpful.

Inside Xbox is stupid. It's a place for them to post promotional stuff. That's it. I hate it. I wish I could remove it.

I can't wait to hear E lambast Major in the next Blogcast:)
Andrew @ Dec 21st 2007 5:19PM
Magic Whiskey: You can call it what it is. It's a podcast. Even Major has given up on trying to change the name. He calls it his podcast all the time.
