Video: A forged Foundry is good for suicides too
Artistically suiciding in Halo 3 is hard work. So hard, that when we need to pull a suicide maneuver we either jump off the map or simply toss a grenade at our feet. But that isn't how Evlmidget25 rolls. He's too darn creative, too artistic and has too much time on his hands for a typical run of the mill suicide. And by the Epic Suicide evidence above, we think you'll agree that not only is watching plasma grenades hop through a map mildly entertaining, but the perfect timing of it all is awe inspiring. Yeah ... we'll perform wondrous Halo 3 suicides one day. It'll be one of our new years resolutions.

that was amazing probably took a while as well

I think this is cool but I have to be the only person in the world that hasn't used foundry since Halo 3 dropped. I still honestly don't see the point behind it besides swaying kids from moding their 360's to crack Halo 3...

I make my own levels, share them with friends and see what they think. I've made a lot of decent stuff and with friends advice I've made them better and a lot more fun. It's a community thing I'd say man, and has nothing to do with 'cracking' Halo 3 or becoming a better sniper or anything. Try some Grifball!

That was crazy. How long did that nade take to explode?
NukeAssault @ Dec 24th 2007 5:32PM
Something around 18-19 seconds. pretty crazy how he made it bounce of the shield doors and stuff.
ian @ Dec 24th 2007 5:36PM
Really? You're going to post Failo3 crap like this?

A) Amazing that someone can use console base level editing tools to make a level based primarily on game physics
B) Pretty cool that someone put that much thought into the mechanics of the game to figure out HOW to make the level
C) Really freaking sweet that Bungie has the love for their product to MAKE a game that has that much depth of engine to allow thier player base the ability to do something like this
*disclaimer* I'm a Bungie fan, not a Halo fan boy. I own the game, I played through single player on heroic, I suck (totally) at multiplayer. I'm a COD4 kind-a guy. I simply think that what they put together is an amazing product, bugs and map balance issues and all :)

I see a flaming helmet in his future...

I don't get it. Why does it take so long for the grenade to explode?
Kamizar @ Dec 25th 2007 9:00AM
Cause it never touches the ground so the timer never goes off...
Daan @ Dec 25th 2007 9:07AM
Well, a nade only explodes when it touches a certain surface. Shielddoors and some other things the nade touches in this vid aren't that kind of surfaces. You should try it once, it's fun.

Thats the best one I've seen so far.
And Halo 3 is a F'd up laggy mess lately. It's almost unplayable online (unplayable if yo want to keep your sanity and your controller intact). It's inconsistent. One game is fine, the next, shots don't register, melees don't connect, slash someone with a sword and you don't hurt em, being assassinated by the person in front of you???.
