Yo thats awesome! I just bought the Wii game, and its a LOT of fun! It's actually one of the first Wii games that I've played for a few hours straight (I like the Wii a lot, it just can't hold my attention for more then an hour or two haha)
But thats really awesome! I was just thinking yesterday "man, I Really hope they make one for the 360!" And they apparently are! No rumors on US based release right? Just by the video, it says 2008 (obviously for Japan), so maybe end of 2008 for us? or probably more likely 2009?

And don't forget, there will be a Dragon Ball Z movie coming out soon in theaters near you!
Guy4 @ Dec 27th 2007 10:55AM
My roommate plays a similar Dragon Ball Z game on the PS2......and this seems no different. The same lameness with better graphics :|

Dragon Ball Z Sagas had an Xbox version, you know.
borandi @ Dec 27th 2007 11:06AM
Looks awesome - some older Vegeta with old Frieza and the rest :)
Urza @ Dec 27th 2007 11:34AM
Pretty soon they'll look just like the anime.. hopefully the combat will catch up. :)
BananaBoat @ Dec 27th 2007 11:45AM
At some point they will be able to match a video game to the animation style of the series. This isn't that point though, as the lines appear to be just as sharp and just as glossy as the previous 10 DBZ games.
The gameplay does look like a step up from the previous ones though, so that's something.

Can't wait!! But is it just me or did that look EXACTLY like the original Budokai? It better not end at the Freeza saga considering they showed Perfect Cell and SSJ2 Gohan in that trailer.
Dylan @ Dec 27th 2007 12:51PM
dude,I loved the original budokai games.I hated it when the swithced to this tenkaichi formula that they have been using as of late.
rhseyegeg @ Dec 27th 2007 5:00PM
I totally agree.
Anticrawl @ Dec 27th 2007 1:33PM
Kickass, can't wait to play some nostalgic DBZ with my younger friends. Been needing a fighting game.
TurboFool @ Dec 27th 2007 2:06PM
I've never been fond of the games, but was a fan of the show. The graphics in this one are truly amazing, though, and I'd say look better than the show at times, simply because the capture the detail of the show combined with depth. Very cool stuff. A definite rental for me.

Fucking finally.
Been emailing these guys forever asking them why they havn't made one for 360 yet.
quesadia19@hotmail.com @ Dec 27th 2007 4:32PM
this is awesome. im so grown out of the old dbz games but i will atleast rent this. whenever it comes out.
rockeranimefreak @ Dec 27th 2007 4:40PM
yay! Dragon Ballz for 360! =) haha.. I remember watching this show all the way up to the end end of the buu saga, kid buu rocks!!!
Brian Fantana @ Dec 27th 2007 4:55PM
God. Japanese music in games is horrible.
D.O.T @ Dec 27th 2007 4:58PM
I'm dissapointed, it looks like they've reverted back to the old ways of the first 3 budokai games. I hate those games. I wish they would expand more on the Tenkaichi series instead. Those are what DBZ games are meant to be.
mike @ Dec 27th 2007 5:59PM
i never played a dbz game before. I like dbz tho. Is there like admz rpg or something? I think I would prefer that over a fightinggame
lolwtfstfu @ Dec 31st 2007 1:47AM
this game looks good, like a real (updated) version of Final Bout, thats faster. Looks like Naruto Taisen for the GC too, gameplay wise and graphics wise, which is pretty good.
sadly though, Freeza saga is pretty dang old, they need more characters like incoporating it all like in Final Bout... GT and Z characters, pretty much all main characters in their SSJs
