Halo 3 video: more Forge suicide antics

Of all the things we figured people would do with the Halo 3 Forge tool, spectacular suicide failed to make the list. We're not sure why, especially considering the mass devotion to blowing up warthogs in the first Halo. However, it seems that the goal now is not only to create dramatic and difficult self-termination scenarios, but to outdo the others before it. Case in point, a video found on Break.com showcasing a very elaborate plasma grenade suicide. You may recall the rather complicated Rube Goldberg kick-the-bucket setup we posted last week, but this one endeavors to take things a little further, even incorporating a mongoose. Check it out after the break.

When they showed it from the first viewpoint I thought it was pretty dumb...but that second viewpoint made me go...eh, pretty cool I guess, haha

worth watching more then the plasma stick, cause it happened in a game and not a lab...

It was cool the first time someone did it, but it already feels played out.

It would be more fun if somebody made a map full of traps that could be used on other players. (Pushing the Warthog off the ledge onto 20 fusion cores seems like a nice idea) It would need to be useful , playable , fun and not too complicated.

That was pretty incredible. I wish I had the time/patience/lack of social life.

What I really appreciated is that Evlmidget25 didn't include music from Linkin Park.

These suicides are the biggest "C@N i HaZ r3c0n?" screams I have ever seen, and i don't see it working.

Rube Goldberg machines just aren't very much fun if the player has to interact with it DURING the machine. In other words, wake me when somebody's created a domino rig like Secumfex's Oblivion rig: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyHiIeBsc9E
