SCIV: See Darth Vader and Yoda in action

Dear lord. We went to bed knowing that Darth Vader and Yoda were showing up in Soul Calibur IV (Yoda is apparently 360 exclusive by the way, whereas Darth joins the ~~Dark Side~~ PS3). That alone was very disturbing. All night we had unsettling dreams about the effects of Force powers on inordinately large breasts. And now we have this, a trailer showcasing them both. Honestly, if someone from Namco Bandai burst through the wall of Fanboy Towers right now screaming "Gotcha!" we wouldn't be surprised. After witnessing some hefty hoaxes and jokes over the years, making this a little hard to swallow, but we're doing our best. Alas, you won't actually see Yoda or Darth doing any fighting, but at least you can see them in motion. On a side note, the game is looking great. Check out the video and see what you think. As much as I was completely uninterested by this game...now I'm kinda interested in it...

It's even weirder seeing them both in action. The Yoda bit was ok where he used the Force but the bit with Darth Vader's Lightsabre clashing with the sword just looked wrong.

But seeing them both in-game is strange to say the least. Hmm personally, I don't think I like it.
I know both subjects are pure fiction but seeing the Star Wars universe mixed with SC's universe just feels wrong. I'd have rather had a pure Star Wars fighter made using the Soul Calibur engine.

What's next Aragorn and Legolas?

They should def. release the other character as DLC because even though Vader is amazing, I'm gonna get the xbox 360 mainly because online is so solid on the 360, a lot better than ps3 network. I own them both and use my xbox 360 more for online.

i honestly got say rb6v was the only shooter i preferred on the 360 other than that i find the psn to be more stable because of lack of down time games rarely lag but cod4 on the 360 gets a 1up for obvious reasons.

The Sabers should do more damage than the other weapons. Still, whats next for Soul Caliber? Is Naruto gonna show up? Or how about Trunks? Or better yet the Toxic Avenger.

Just not right to have a Light Saber stopped by mere metal. A bit unrealistic don't you think. However all Star Wars fanboyism aside, this game looks great might even get this just to see Yoda in action. They Better make Vader a DLC for the 360.

Yeah I'd much rather have Vader. I'll probably go with the PS3 version cause I prefer to play fighting games with the dpad and PS3's dpad is a thousand times better than the 360's dpad

ok this is the worst thing i have ever seen in video game history.. truthfully what the voice said that the tournament is going to be different now blah blah blah is true because yoda and vader should just destroy everyone... no questions asked. how can a metal sword stop vader's lightsaber? that was just horrible, i know they were trying to make an awesome trailer but they failed and pulled me away once i saw that at the end.. and i want vader so put him on 360! ps3 is horrible!

Wow you guys are dogging yoda so much, I mean in my opinion vader sucks compared to yoda...I do remember watching one of the movies, and yoda goes fckin crazy on someguy, and vadar is a old guy with breathing problems from fire0_o I'm sorry but vadar isn't that strong compared to some guys:p

wtf? What is so "unbelievable" about Star Wars characters in a *gasp* VIDEO GAME!!!????? Wasn't Darth Maul a unlockable character in a Tony Hawk game? As others have stated before, Link and Spawn have both appeared so why is two of the most iconic film charcters of all time "weird"?
