Okay, set aside that the latest edition of the Fable 2 video diary is mostly about world design and fixing bugs. That's great. It really is. It's good that they're doing all of these things. Now that we've said that, let us direct you to 4:06 in the diary handily embedded above. You know what it is? It's a player in Fable 2hopping a fence. If you've played the original -- and very constricted -- Fable, you'll know how momentous these precious seconds of footage are. There, we've said it. Now you can go about enjoying the meat of the diary. Enjoy.
my only disappointment with the fable 2 news released so far is the lack of seafaring. the pirate concept art really struck home for me. that said, bring on the wall-jumping! can't wait.
not as strange as one might think (case in point, jade raymond) it's just that we has very stereotypical expectations, thats all. we're getting better though (hopefully ;)
Well, atleast there was one good item in Fable 1 worth saving up for (that huge zig-zagged sword of doom).
I'm looking forward to this game. Not so much because it's a new fable (though I did love Fable 1) but because it's slated to come out around the time that the well of other games sorta dries up. MGS4, Mario Kart, Smash Bro's, etc, are all coming out the first half of 08 (supposedly). If they can slip the game in before Thanksgiving, I think they've got a real shot at a blockbuster title.
There was a nice example of what the new game can do RPG-wise, in this months EGM.
According to the magazine, you can marry two women, and have two families, but if they ever meet, your reputation is over. I know it sounds silly, but putting the option to do real life things (even if they are scummy, like having two families) into an RPG, is what RPG's are all about (atleast to me). Kinda like that staff in Oblivion that makes everyone naked (well, down to their underpants). Is it necessary? No. Is it a whole lot of fun? Hell yes.

Can't wait for Fable 2 =)
Fable was one of the few must-haves the Xbox had, and it looks like Fable 2 is going to be one of many must-haves for the 360.

Yea the one on the left, wouldnt mind getting my grind on with her!
As I see it, she is a 7 out of 10, however she gains 2 points for working with games therefore 9/10 which is a very good score.

Fable....Fable was just fun! It didn't achieve what Peter wanted it to, but it was a fun freakin' game.
Expanded character development, items, and customizations...oooo, and the DOG, should make Fable 2 a great game.

Am I the only one who hated fable.....The game lacked in so many ways. Hope they give you more then 3 monsters to kill in this one.
Batzarro @ Jan 18th 2008 12:00AM
Me like! I hope you can get into a Springer-ish slapfest.
