Xbox 360 Fancast 052 -- Bionic Fanboys

While the Xbox 360 Fancast's birthday technically isn't until January 29th, this episode marks the end of our first full year of episodes. Frankly, we're getting a little misty-eyed, but we'll do our best to retain our composure. This week we talk about Rock Band's tremendous success (as a DLC machine), Microsoft's legal troubles, and Gears of War man-dolls. We also totally geek out over Bionic Commando Rearmed (except for Dustin). Download below. No, seriously, download it. Now. Oh, we also discuss enhanced podcasts during the show, more or less dismissing the idea. Having done a little research, we're going to look into it. Seems like a good way to start off year number 2, no?

OBM @ Jan 21st 2008 7:56PM
Coming from TH, which I can only assume stands for The Homo xD
Graham @ Jan 21st 2008 8:22PM
At TH: The voice isn't the best indicator of a Person's sexuality. I'm not sure how old he is but maybe Dustin is going through puberty or his voice is just that way naturally.
Is Knuckles gone for good now? If so that's a shame. He could certainly be a bit obnoxious at times but he was really knowledgeable about games. The show just isn't very good without him. Sorry
Knuckles Dawson @ Jan 22nd 2008 2:20PM
Thanks, Graham. I think that's the problem: I'm obnoxious because I'm aware of my comparable knowledgeability.
That being said, props to Dustin for being stoked for Cloverfield. I loved it. It's a thinker's movie, anyone who doesn't like it, probably didn't pick up the subtleties.
P.S. I wish I saw what TH said.
DaMan09 @ Jan 21st 2008 9:10PM
Cloverfield = Win
I hope you guys aren't haters after you see it.
Jayslacks @ Jan 21st 2008 10:17PM
Yeah, I most Def want to hear what you guys think of Cloverfield. Oh, Dustin, check out what game was the most active on Live this past week. Here's a hint: It wasn't the Haloz...
Prophestus @ Jan 21st 2008 11:52PM
Whats with all the haters posting today? Damn...
Keep up the good work.

Although im not sure the zune supports the enhanced podcast format, it does in fact support aac. Other than that, great podcast guys, made writing my ap bio essay less boring
Richard Mitchell @ Jan 22nd 2008 9:46AM
Yeah, I just figured that out myself. As I understand it, the Zune would treat an enhanced AAC just like a normal MP3. It would play it, just no images and URLs, etc.
I'm looking into it.

Thank you very much for answering my question. You guys were a wealth of knowledge on XNA, but sorry I bored Alexander. XNA is a little confusing, but hopefully it can help jumpstart some developers careers.
