It's HD DVD Monday and that means we're dishing out this week's new HD DVD releases all of which are now available in both low fat and sugar free versions. Though, we only have two new HD DVD releases available for consumption;
Channels and
Method Man: Live from the Sunset Strip. And if by chance those two titles don't get your salivators salivating, we have open bar and complimentary mini sausage hor'dourves from 7-9:00PM. Our research tells us that an intoxicated consumer is an HD DVD purchasing consumer. So, we're sure we'll be seeing you later on this evening and remember to bring your wallet.

HD-DVD is going to lose the format war... look at the shit they are bringing out. It's just time.

We should take bets on what will be the last HD DVD ever released
JAKEJAX @ Jan 21st 2008 4:57PM
You are looking at it. I win!

Ya X3F you might as well stop posting about HD DVD Microsoft is so nuetral on the matter it doesnt even matter at all if HD DVD dies. MS is just going to ad a blu ray ad on anyway...
bigmac375 @ Jan 21st 2008 6:57PM
why do you even post this? this is xbox 360 fanboy not dvd forum fanboy.
Charles @ Jan 21st 2008 5:03PM
Why don't you post what's new on the marketplace? I think that's more relevant to the majority of XBox users than HD-DVD. This is just being cribbed from the Engadget HD blog anyway. Really I wanted to find some place to bitch about Blade Runner not being available in HD :)

5 Disc Bladerunner just came out on HD a couple weeks ago dude.
It's awesome too - the new "final" cut looks outstanding.
aaron @ Jan 21st 2008 7:45PM
if anything you guys should focus on putting what will be new on the xbox live video marketplace each week. thats something every single 360 owner can potentially care about vs the 250k that actually bought the hd-dvd player
Mr Cool @ Jan 21st 2008 8:51PM
I am going to have to agree with the above users. From my stand point, it doesnt look like any one really cares any more about HD-DVD releases. The smart thing to do would be to update us about the Video Marketplace, that is after all what the big Microsoft conspiracy thing is all about right?

I always click on it in my RSS feeder when they post it. I appreciate it, just as I will appreciate them posting the Blu Ray movies if MS does a BR add on. What's the big deal? Why does everyone get in such a tizzy over X3F posting these? Such silly people.
Boss Tempo @ Jan 22nd 2008 8:07AM
I'm just waiting for all these HD-DVDs to sink to the $1 closeout pile so I can buy them all up.
Frankly, I'm over it. The add-on was only a couple hundred bucks and I've definately gotten my use out of it.
jango fett @ Jan 22nd 2008 3:37PM
yeah but remember they are trying to make sure they get as many people as possible to buy them. xbox 360 users are 'potential' hd dvd owners just like ps3 owners are 'tought' to be real important contributors to the blu ray format adoption. it doesnt hurt anyone. and they might get a few sales.

i never wanted the HD add on. just recall any add ons and you'd know why (32x anyone?)
also, i even knew HD would die as soon as Sony put a Blu-ray player in the PS3 (PS2 and DVD anyone?)
