As
foretold by Xbox.com, this week's
Rock Band downloadable content flew in by jet from the UK and is prepped and ready to be purchased by DLC enthusiasts. Oasis makes its
Rock Band debut with an all new "Oasis Track Pack" featuring three songs from those shaggy haired Brits including "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Live Forever" and "Wonderwall". And, as always, if you suffer from Oasis commitment issues, you can purchase each track separately for the standard 160 Microsoft point price tag. Get all the details of detailed'ness on the new
Oasis Rock Band DLC after the break. Gallagher FTW!

I never considered myself an Oasis fan, but this, to me, is the best Rock Band download pack yet. 90's Alternative FTW!

surprisingly wonderwall is quite difficult (considering I can play this in real life). LOL
great songs. practically everyone should know how to sing it.

If they would have put Champagne Supernova as DLC, I'd go out and get it NOW.
MrMuggs @ Jan 22nd 2008 1:40PM
So true! Champagne Supernova would rock. I'd love to get "D'You Know What I mean?" too. Any way you look at it though Rock Gand and their DLC has been incredible.

Roarrrrrrrr, damn Rock Band and its actually good DLC. I really dont want to drop $180 on this game, but they are wearing me down here.

Rock Band is $150 at Sams Club, If there is a Sams Club near you, and you are a member or ever wanted to be a member (now you'd have a pretty good reason).

... or you can buy the standalone game if you have a GH guitar and then use your headset as a mic, that takes care of 2/3 the instruments. Then if you want, buy the drums separately later on.
Eric @ Jan 22nd 2008 11:47PM
The drums are suppose to be $79.99 when they finally come out so you can can either buy the stand alone game, waits months for the drums to come out, finally get them and have saved $10.01 in the long run ($59.99 +$79.99 = 139.98), versus getting it now at Sams Club, and for $10.01 extra you get an extra guitar (assuming you already have at least one Guitar Hero controller) and a nice USB mic...plus no waiting for the drums to be available.
