WRUP: damn dirty demons edition

There are really two standout games to play this week. The first is Burnout Paradise, which has plenty of gamers entranced by its free form gameplay. Of course, you get to smash things too, which is always a plus. The other game that slammed into the radar screen this week is the Devil May Cry 4 demo. Many gamers will be spending this weekend playing and replaying the demo, deciding whether or not to drop their hard cash for the game later this year. Others, well, they'll play it once and wonder what the fuss is about. Frankly, we're still catching up on the back catalog of games (Mario Galaxy, Overlord, and we still need to hit Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and more). It's going to be a busy weekend. But what about you? What will you be playing this weekend?

I should have Burnout Paradise waiting for me in my mailbox via GameFly (props for the new Tampa, FL warehouse), more COD4, and get some more kills in Undertow.

Here here! Burnout Paradise from Gamefly should be arriving and more COD4 multiplayer for me.

Wasn't too excited about Undertow after playing it the other day...but must admit I didn't play it long enough to give it a fighting chance. Just too many other great titles to spend my precious gaming time on!

I'm playing Burnout Paradise and Crackdown! Burnout is definitely...different. Graphics are nuts, races are ok, I truly hate the speed cars that have to get 100% boost before going. Oh, and one small ding, and your slammed into a wall. But a lot of fun overall.
One more thing: the soundtrack...meh at best.

I just prestiged again in COD4 so ill be playing that trying to get my guns back. I got a buddy of mine coming up to visit me at school so we'll get a lot of Rock Band in too... maybe do the endless setlist. Might try and get a few games of Halo in too but that might not happen

Can't wait to pick this one up.

I'll be hitting RB6V hard along with maybe some COD4 campaign.Outside of that, perhaps some Metal Slug 3 for the last 2 cheevos I need in it and if I feel like really working my brain I'll hit up some Exit.

ill be finishing up Assassins Creed this weekend, I've only got three more assassinations left, then probably back to some TF2 from the Orange Box

Have one more assassination left in Creed (which I really enjoyed.) Other than that, I'll be playing through Episode I and II of Half Life, or Rock Band.

I still have to get through Mass Effect and Skate, which were both Xmas presents.

Burnout Paradise. Love this game. Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, Carcassonne, Pinball. Probably try and work some CoD4 in there too. Still need to complete the last few missions on Veteran.

I will be trying to finish Mass Effect and getting down on some Skate and CoD4. Oh yeah, I can't forget the beautiful Puzzle Quest, that game stays in the rotation.

Finishing up Assassin's Creed...

Attempting to get lvl 60 in Mass Effect! I've beaten it twice (two different characters) but went back to my soldier for the 3rd go through and hopefully can get up to 60!
