Damn.... and I just made an Australian XBL account over the weekend to d/l it......
Will @ Jan 29th 2008 10:28AM
You're an idiot...
mirage @ Jan 29th 2008 2:08PM
I don't think he is an idiot. I have Japanese and European silver accounts for just this purpose.
xenocidic @ Jan 29th 2008 10:05AM
or OXM just greased the palms for some exclusive time
refinedsugar @ Jan 29th 2008 2:19PM
Yeah, as if anyone cares, this is exactly what happened. OXM gets these timed "exclusive" demos that last a month's span.
The time must be up.
Larry *not allowed to say cheevo* @ Jan 29th 2008 10:15AM
OXM released on the 15th with an EXCLUSIVE demo of Turok on their disc. So, to get the demo in the US prior, you had to go out and buy the magazine (if you aren't a subscriber).
The True Gamer @ Jan 29th 2008 10:19AM
Didn't Turok use to be a native American?
Larry *not allowed to say cheevo* @ Jan 29th 2008 10:28AM
He still is... as far as the story goes.
Anticrawl @ Jan 29th 2008 10:36AM
Back with the Son of Stone was just a comic book he was a Native American. I believe in the N64 title he was as well. This one however, not so much. Not sure what race he is.
Anticrawl @ Jan 29th 2008 10:40AM
Back when* that is
erivera3 @ Jan 29th 2008 10:40AM
How are the graphics? I got class now so I can't check it out for myself yet.
john paul @ Jan 29th 2008 4:36PM
so dark....
evilJaze @ Jan 29th 2008 10:43AM
Not missing much, really. It's been available on the PSN since last week. Ok game but just another generic 2-person shooter IMO.
doug @ Jan 29th 2008 10:43AM
I thought the demo was poorly done. If it's the same demo as in OXM then you spend the first part wandering around a dark cave which gives no sense for how great the game looks when you finally get outside. Not to mention the claustrophobic game play you get in the cave.
Dustin @ Jan 29th 2008 10:50AM
Yeah, this surprised me a bit ago when I went to download the demo and only found it on the PSN.
It's not very often (ever?) that you get a PSN-exclusive demo for a cross-platform game.
alex b @ Jan 29th 2008 11:59AM
Yah, OXM grabbed the "exclusive" demo for a bit in North America, that's why it was only on PSN until now.
Quick question, does it have multiplayer? That sounds the most interesting, what with the dino's terrorizing both teams...
Gemini Ace @ Jan 29th 2008 2:41PM
Of course it has multiplayer. Do some research.
ccc @ Jan 29th 2008 12:01PM
After playing the demo I can safley say that this game is right on par with such classics as Jericho and Area 51 for the 360.
Deathrace King @ Jan 29th 2008 1:51PM
I downloaded this on my PS3 last week. It was OK for a demo. I'll wait until the reviews start coming in. Right now I'm thinking it's just a "rent".
