OXM reveals Rock Band's March DLC lineup
The ScoreHero forums are abuzz this morning with the revealing of March's Rock Band downloadable content in March's issue of OXM. The list of DLC looks to be quite official, outlining all four weeks of DLC and mentioning whether or not they'll be packed together. And you'll be happy to know that March will not let us down. Rock Band will be getting a Nine Inch Nails track pack featuring the master of "The Perfect Drug" (we just had to embed the music video above), some "Shooting Star" by Bad Company, "Message in a Bottle" by Police, "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd and "Fuel" by Metallica. March will be sounding great! Take a looksy at the complete list of Rock Band's March DLC after the break and gush over the musical goodness. Now, all we need is February's list of DLC and we'd be prepared to rock out for the next few months.

Waiting for that last pack is going to be pretty tough.
CJ @ Jan 31st 2008 9:40AM
eh nothin for me in here... pity because ive been very happy with their dlc as of late. harmonix should really consider dlc from their bonus track bands like honest bob or freezepop
Jon @ Jan 31st 2008 10:01AM
I believe the latest issue of oxm had a disc with exclusive songs for Rock Band including Freezepop's Sprode.
GazzaScotland @ Jan 31st 2008 9:51AM
Simple Man! Hell Yeah! =]
Shame we don't get Rock Band till March 8th lol.
IceOrb @ Jan 31st 2008 9:53AM
It would be kinda neat if they offered up some purely instrumental tracks.
Josh @ Jan 31st 2008 10:45AM
if this was guitar hero, sure. but these songs need to be played with two guitars, drums, and vocals
Kev @ Jan 31st 2008 2:37PM
@Josh
More cowbell!
:)
tim @ Jan 31st 2008 9:55AM
i think my drumset will be broken after attempting that drum solo in 'the perfect drug.'
Mark @ Jan 31st 2008 10:01AM
I thought they were saving drum solo songs for "Rock Band 2" where they would add drum solos in like guitar solos. Just my own little theory, but I guess not.
Hey Apples @ Jan 31st 2008 9:54AM
Wouldn't it be "Metal" pack and not "Medal" pack?
ZEBRA NINER @ Jan 31st 2008 10:19AM
Well... maybe all of those songs were awarded some kind of MEDAL. HAHA! It's all good.
There are some good ones in there. The more the better! Once all these bands that are still holding out see that they can make some cash and get there music back into people's minds, we can get some more stuff.
DeadPlasmaCell @ Jan 31st 2008 9:59AM
looks good.. Fuel should be fun
Brian @ Jan 31st 2008 3:02PM
Anyone have the list for Feb. DLC?
lalex @ Jan 31st 2008 10:33AM
YES!!! MARCH OF THE FUCKING PIGS IS COMING TO ROCKBAND!! ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS BY TRENT REZNOR AND NINE INCH NAILS!!! I KEPT ON SAYING WHAT A GREAT SONG THIS WOULD BE TO HAVE IN ROCK BAND!! YES!!!
dunnypop @ Jan 31st 2008 10:42AM
I remember that back in the day Trent said March of the Pigs are nearly impossible to play in real life and to find a drummer to actually perform it was a real task in itself.
I expect to see a lot more broken pedals.
therpham @ Jan 31st 2008 10:29AM
I'm surprised - there's actually not really anything there in which I'm interested.
Which I guess is a good thing, considering I've almost spent all my MS points on Rock Band songs already.
dunnypop @ Jan 31st 2008 10:31AM
wow the Haunted and At the Gates. wow!
Prepare to hear some stories of people being evicted because of the screaming. LOL
seriously... I'm impressed they'd have both bands.
wow more NIN! awesome.
Syko360 @ Jan 31st 2008 10:31AM
March of the Pigs FTGDMFW! Simple man is great too.
murph @ Jan 31st 2008 10:36AM
not that impressed. a couple of good ones in there, but i will be passing on most of these. as much as i love loud, kick-ass metal, i'd actually prefer some more "popular" songs. we've played all the good songs at my skihouse, and they are starting to get repetitive.
Josh @ Jan 31st 2008 10:45AM
message in a bottle? cool. perfect drug? cool. the metal pack? awesome. the rest? mehhhhhh
what about february???
McWeen @ Jan 31st 2008 10:46AM
Wow! I haven't bought any songs yet (waiting for a microsoft points to go on sale somewhere) but these songs may push me over the edge.
IceOrb @ Jan 31st 2008 11:11AM
@ Josh
The game doesn't need to be played with vocals. Guitar, Bass, and drums is just fine. I mean half the time nobody even wants to sing and the ones that do don't make a good attempt at it.
Dante Sparda @ Jan 31st 2008 11:15AM
I enjoy singing in Rock Band its alot of fun if you accutually try it. I havent practiced enough to get off Medium/Easy yet but I do fairly well even if I sound nothing like the singer. try doing vocals its alot of fun.
Also Simple Man FTMFW!!!
IceOrb @ Jan 31st 2008 11:19AM
Oh I agree that the vocals are fun but it is very rare to find someone who enjoys it much less is capable of doing it well enough to pass the harder songs in band world tour.
dunnypop @ Jan 31st 2008 12:02PM
vocals are great with alcohol.
however my friend does a great rendition of Celebrity Skin... I usually shit myself laughing so hard.
TX2Step @ Jan 31st 2008 11:45AM
CJ: You have no taste in music. Sorry that they don't have Britney Spears or Fall Out Boy for your lameness. Pick up a song and jam dude! :D
Ningles @ Jan 31st 2008 5:01PM
SUPERNAUT! OMG FUCK YEA! BEEN WANTING THIS SONG FOR YEARS IN GH, BUT NOW RB HAS IT, WOOT!
Kizzle @ Jan 31st 2008 8:13PM
Ugh. Fuel is one of the worst Metallica songs ever pre-St. Anger. Terrible choice. Laughable lyrics and banally repetitive guitar part. Try again.
At the Gates is a nice surprise, and I'll grab the NIN tracks.
quesadia19@hotmail.com @ Jan 31st 2008 8:18PM
BAWWWWW
I want some Avenged Sevenfold, Dragonforce and more Lynyrd Skynyrd, and some more classic rawk
maxdense @ Feb 2nd 2008 8:08AM
Gimme' fuel, gimme' fire, gimme' that which I desire!
