Deal time! Halo 3 Legendary Edition for $60

Still don't have a copy of Halo 3 or are looking to upgrade your version? Well, today is the perfect day to jump in and step up to the elitist of all Halo 3 editions, the Halo 3 Legendary Edition. Why today? Well, because Amazon.com is offering the "giant black box edition" (just another name for it) for the regular edition price of $59.99. For realz!

The Legendary Edition comes packed with behind the scenes stuff, gamer pictures, themes, art, cut scenes and the wicked cool (must. resist. urge. to. call. it. a. cat. helmet ...) Spartan helmet as well. These things may fly off the Amazon.com shelves fast, but then again they were supposed to be sold out on launch day ... no matter. It's a great deal, so spread the word.

I have said it before and I will say it again America got far too many of these things. Luckily I was smart enough to order mine 6 months in advance and from a reputable retailer. But many people in the UK left it until a week or so before hand and found out that even some people with Pre-orders from several months ago wouldn't get their order.

And here is America months later with an abundance of the things.

Yes but I was even luckier to pick up the regular edition on launch night, sell that to a friend for 55 bucks the next day. Pick up the Limited Edition where I work for 20% off, so essentially 55 bucks. Then the best part, I traded that in for 45 bucks and then bought the Legendary from Amazon the last time they did this deal.

So yeah, I wonder sometimes if I am the only person to have owned all three editions of Halo 3.

Was the Legendary Edition ever supposed to be Limited as well? Or can they just keep putting out as many of these things as they want?

I got mine last time Amazon had it for $60, and I have to say people must have BIG cats to think the helmet is only big enough for them. Gut the box-shaped insides, put something you can actually see through on the front, and there's your new chimp helmet ready to go...
