there is some message right after she punches him in the face
Studley @ Feb 1st 2008 6:16PM
Something like
> Find us
> and we will show you the way
Presumably from the terminal in the hatch.
It COULD be a really good game, were it not for the fact that there's unlikely to be any startling Lost plot revelations - they wouldn't give away something important in the game which isn't told to the TV viewers.
Graphics look mega-sketchy though; those facemaps look like something straight out of GoldenEye 64.
bonzai @ Feb 1st 2008 6:21PM
Studley, you're underestimating JJ Abrams. He definitely would throw something that actually matters to the series into the game. Abrams gets so viral and clever with his stuff its not even funny.
William @ Feb 1st 2008 5:40PM
Can't wait, this is gonna be some fun.
End of Feb, release date right?
Shoopdawhoop27 @ Feb 2nd 2008 2:03AM
End of feb?!?! I had no idea it was that soon! Halielujah
madcowdzz @ Feb 1st 2008 6:17PM
I know many of them are the real actors, but is it just me or does the voice-acting sound cold and robotic? This trailer has actually forced me to lower my expectations of the game.
klsnowden @ Feb 3rd 2008 6:32AM
I've never played a video game where the voice overs were convincing. I mean, Gears of War voice overs were so bad it was annoying. But that didn't detract from the game play.
Revolutionary will be the company that puts out a video game with voice overs half as good as animated masters like Pixar.
Nick Nelson @ Feb 1st 2008 6:22PM
I love this show, but I honestly can't see myself playing this game. Maybe if the graphics were better - wait nope, still can't see it.
GANNONSMASH @ Feb 1st 2008 6:28PM
My god, whoever did Jack's voice is fucking terrible.
Deck @ Feb 1st 2008 7:53PM
Ughh....yea.... I'll be making a pass on this one.
Macroy @ Feb 1st 2008 9:04PM
I'm obsessed with Lost to the point where I'm going to purchase this game.
I need help.
Trashman @ Feb 1st 2008 10:12PM
rent, dont buy. im as obsessed as much as you, but i will not be buying this game
Macroy @ Feb 1st 2008 10:30PM
But then what will I put next to my printed Oceanic Airlines ticket and my makeshift DHARMA products?
stinger503 @ Feb 1st 2008 11:03PM
I think the graphics are pretty good, the character models are good and the enviroments look amazing (surprising because this is a tv show made into a game and well...look at CSI), if it's free roaming and has a good plot then I'll probably pick this up. Although I can tell Locke and Jack didn't aren't voicing for themselves.
Kyle @ Feb 1st 2008 11:01PM
Sounds to me like some of the actual actors are being used to voice their parts - Jack sounds like Jack. Charlie, not so much.
Doing voice over in a sound booth is a much different skill than acting on camera, so it's not unusual that Jack sounds as robotic as he does; he's probably not comfortable in the sound booth. It really is an acquired skill to read your lines "wild" - that is, with no other actors present.
Graphics are sketchy ... but I still fire up my original Playstation, so it really comes down to gameplay and story. Though for a 360 game, the graphics definitely suck. Fine for a PS2, but not on next-gen.
Nick @ Feb 2nd 2008 6:41AM
So for $60 you can be presented with more Lost questions and no answers to the plot lines. Sounds like a win! lol
Sensical @ Feb 2nd 2008 2:35PM
People crash land on a "deserted" island?
Wow. You *do* have some catching up to do with the TV series.
xan @ Feb 25th 2008 2:51PM
i ve played it
not a bad game, there's not much to do apart from walk around finding things.theres some smoke in the forrests and caves that kills you ,apart from that there not much else that can kill you.
the puzzle parts are pretty good.
completed it in 2 days of playing about 4 hrs missing 5 achievements
so it doesnt last long
