Canada experiences Inside Xbox awesomeness

Previously, Inside Xbox was only available to a few countries including the U.S., but our fellow Canadian gamers couldn't partake in daily Inside Xbox fun. But all that has changed, as Canadian gamers should now be able to click on the Inside Xbox option right above the friends / messages button on the Xbox Live blade to watch Major's Minute, TriXie's Community Confidential and all the crew's bloopers as well. We're sure the Canadian Inside Xbox version will include the same weekly features as its U.S. cousin, but also incorporate exclusive news and events pertinent to Canadian Live members. Check it out, it's Inside Xbox Canadian

It does have some Canadian maple flavour added on, in fact I think that 360prophecy is doing most of the work on it. Or something.

I, in the UK have found it get more and more pointless as time as passed. When it started Juicy Bongos (or whatever his name is) would do a review of the week, which was really just 5 pages of adverts.
Now it is updated daily, with rubbish like, go back and unlock achievements, this one is very hard to unlock, here is a way to do it that makes it take just 20hours.
I don't see why MS are paying this guy to do this rubbish.

Yeah I thought it would be useful but as time's gone on the flashing icon on the dash has just irritated me. I've stopped reading them.
Suppose it doesn't help that I'm on the net all day so it's all 'old news' on the Inside Xbox thing.

Funny as I had just emailed Jade the other day asking about that feature. She was kind to reply too. I've yet to see it though as Xbox Lag was acting up again.

Yeah I noticed it last night and took a look. 13 pages, what a bunch of useless garbage. Thanks for wasting my time, Inside Xbox. Any way I can delete that crap from my dashboard?

This thing is not 'insider' news it's just a string of adverts that won't stop flashing until you look at them. Waste of my time and to be honest I wish they stopped patronising me so much.

From the sounds of it, Inside Xbox is very different in each country since they have specific content and specific people doing it.
Anyways, from my experience in the USA it has been just awesome. Major's Minute always has good useful stuff I like to know, his interviews are good too. I also like being directed to new demo downloads, new DLC, etc. through Inside Xbox. It's just fun looking through it and I like getting that extra bit of news which is in a nice format and opens up into full streaming video pretty quick.
And even if you didn't like reading/watching the stuff it certainly doesn't seem intrusive. It's just a little icon that fades into red and then fades back to white when there is new content.
Well, enjoy it Canadian brethren. :)
