New GTAIV scans found in the wild [Update]

Update: Some details in the original Games Aktuell article are reprinted from prior releases, no new information was made available in the article from what we know. We need to learn how to read in German.
Xboxygen got their hands on the latest issue of the German gaming magazine, Games Aktuell, which is loaded with
- Missions are denoted on the map with a symbol and a suggested route (like in Saint's Row)
- The woman with the lollipop in the promotional posters is named Lola, and it's hinted that she is a prostitute
- Ammunation shops no longer exist
- The default driving camera is lower and to the left, in order to be more realistic, but other options are available
- You can have a taxi drop you off anywhere in Liberty City, even at special locations such as restaurants and hospitals
- In one mission Niko is tasked with killing Mr. Goldberg, a pesky lawyer. During the cutscene leading to his death, Goldberg says, "I don't fear guns. You know, guns don't kill people. Video games kill people."
- Niko will wear a helmet every time he jumps on a motorcycle

"guns don't kill people, videogames kill people"

*initiate slow-clap*

we all know mr. goldberg is really jack thompson in disguise.
ZEBRA NINER @ Feb 7th 2008 11:54AM
OMG! Somebody call Fox news! They have prostitutes, gun voilence, drug use, and graphic pedophile action (so I heard, which makes it true).
Stop this game before it turns out children into drug crazed, gun waving, prostitute, pedophiles!

I've never played the game and I'll never will because if we look at the facts, this game includes also necrophilia, zoophilia and some other sex acts that I'd rather not speak of, so I'm gonna have to go with the research and NOT buy this game
Ciros 360 @ Feb 7th 2008 11:58AM
neogaf is showing this topic is from 07/21/07. Is this info really new?
CassilineKnight @ Feb 7th 2008 12:01PM
Fucking genius...I'm gonna love EVERY SECOND of this game!

'Guns don't kill people, but they sure help'
love that quote from shoot 'em up. nice to see R* take a hit at jack.
can't wait for this. now just gotta make up $90 for the collectors edition.
Swagman @ Feb 7th 2008 12:13PM
None of this information is new. It's all been widely circulated for months now.
Swagman @ Feb 7th 2008 12:17PM
All of the photos, on the other hand, are new.
JHTM @ Feb 7th 2008 12:39PM
even thought the pics are new, imo they dont whet the appetite at all. Trust me i cant wait for the game but these pics at this late stage does nothing for me.
i can honestly see R* releasing another trailer b4 the game is released, prob around March time, whether it'll show gameplay is another matter.
The idea of showing GTA 4 gameplay is a double edged sword for R*, if they show gameplay and it SUCKS, then they run the risk of destroyin the interest in the game (although i would still buy it ;-) ), on the other hand, if they show gameplay close to APR 29th and it looks awesome, R* will create immense hype for the product.
something tells me we aint gunna see any gameplay however - until we buy the game

I find it pretty sad that a game as big as this and a couple months from release has not a single picture, let alone video showing off in game gameplay with the hud and whatnot. When games do this they are usually the utter crap bottom of the barrel variety. Right now thats the feeling im getting about this game from rockstar. Release a 2 minute video of people playing the game already, eesh.
Im deffenitly not buying this game without at least seeing some sort of gameplay, which means one less sale for rockstar if they dont come through before launch (After launch date I just buy new games used for $15 less). Also, a demo of this game better be coming. I loved gta 1 and 2 and thought 3 was ok. never played vice city and played SA and through that game in the garbage is was so terrible. Sorry im not a black gangster on the streets and I have no intention of playing one in a game. When saints row demo came out, I couldnt care less about another gta type game. But I played the demo and loved it, ended up buying the game. (just to clarify Im not a white gangster on the street either but in saints row it was not so bad since the dialog was a little more normal and well, i cant really explain it) Lets just hope there is a demo of GTA4

You know one feature I'd like to see missing from GTA4? The little GPS map in the corner of the screen. Liberty City is undoubtedly going to be very distinctive -- I think it would be immensely satisfying to have to navigate via landmarks like in real life.
(There will be cars with GPS in their dashboard, of course.)
SugarDaddy @ Feb 7th 2008 1:47PM
"Also there are unconfirmed reports that one button lets you get into a car, a second button starts the engine"
I hope the engine starting button is the same as the drive button and simply starts the car if it's off. Cuz that would be a waste of a button if it simply started the car.
teenagertc @ Feb 7th 2008 7:40PM
A button to start the car seems absolutely pointless...I don't think anyone is saying..."the GTA series isn't realistic enough, I need a button to start the car up."
JHTM @ Feb 7th 2008 2:07PM
whilst i agree it TOTALLY sucks not to see gameplay, i cant foresee GTA4 not delivering - ive love GTA from the beginning and have owned all of them inc the cool London 60s one.
With every iteration I FEEL, the series has gone from strength to strength, i believe GTA4 will continue this.
Hell if im wrong - im sure Saints Row 2 will be awesome.. the first was a GREAT game and i wont be surprised if GTA4 borrows from saints row in more ways than one.
Neuromancer @ Feb 7th 2008 2:20PM
I heard in addition to having to press a button to open the car door and a button to start the engine, we'll also have to press a button to put the car in drive, a button to adjust the air flow into the cabin and a button to defrost the rear view mirrors.
Losing the Ammunation store is a serious blow to the series however. I always liked the guy with the british accent who worked there in GTA III.
joka22 @ Feb 7th 2008 3:03PM
The info isnt really new but has been rumoured for a while, however its good to have some confirmation from somebody who has played it.The pics are new though.
However this was posted a couple of days ago on the gta4 fansites....
