Bungie talks Halo 3 melee fix and new playlists

Last night's newly new Bungie Weekly Update was an informative little bugger as team Bungie talks, reveals and explains how they plan on fixing Halo 3's controversial melee. Their explanation of the melee fix and subsequent comparison of Halo 2 and Halo 3's melee is a lengthy read, so here's the cliff notes version. After the fix, the melee in Halo 3 should feel less random and there will be more "dual melee deaths", because Bungie employs smart people whose sole purpose in life is to fix melee problems. Just trust. Bungie also mentions that the auto-update (which includes the melee fix and uber l33t Elite Commando shoulders) has been passed on to MS cert and shall descend on the masses sometime this month.

Oh yeah, Bungie also confirmed plans to add a "best of" community Forged maps playlist in the near future. Oh shoot, they also mentioned that there's going to be a Valentines Day playlist beginning next Wednesday. Oh double shoot ... ah, heck with it. There's just too much goodness in this week's Bungie Weekly Update, so make the jump and get learned. That's what we did and so should you.
