You've experienced what
Frontlines: Fuel of War has to offer from a
single player perspective and now, today, you get to delve into its multiplayer side. This morning,
Kaos Studios released a
Frontlines multiplayer demo to the XBLM allowing gamers to play against 32 other players at once over Xbox Live. The demo is available for download to all Xbox Live regions, weighs a solid 1.11GB and, with the help of the other single player demo, should pretty much solidify your opinion of
Frontlines: Fuel of War for its upcoming release in a few weeks. Go ahead kids, demo away.

Oh yeah, the single player demo was fun and this should be even better. 32 people = :)
AfroCelt @ Feb 11th 2008 10:49AM
the controls were just not tight enough for me on the single player
Tim @ Feb 11th 2008 11:44AM
I got extremely frustrated with the controls in the single player. I felt too slow and clunky.
Corleone @ Feb 11th 2008 11:23AM
The single player demo sucked.
COD 4!!
COD 4!!
COD 4!!

I will agree, the controls do need some polishing up but the concept and the gameplay elements gave it a little extra push that not many other games have, especially CoD4 because Corleone had to say it 3 times when this and CoD4 are different types of games.

It should do well on the PS3... oops. It was cancelled. >:)

Did anyone else think the original demo was so bad... it was good? First I run behind a car for cover and then it... disapears! Then I run into a building and when contronted with by a enemy 2 feet away, I start randomly pressing buttons hoping for a melee attack and punch him in the face! He flies ten feet away and falls on another guy. I thought the melee was so funny, I began melee every enemy I could find. Then theirs the awful tank that I drove off a cliff, did a backflip in, and landed perfectly.
Besides Portal, this was one of the funniest games I've played.

I dunno if it will be as good as COD.. but ill give it a shot
Token White Guy @ Feb 11th 2008 3:59PM
It's not supposed to be a CoD shooter! It was made to give EA a run for the money!
NukeAssault @ Feb 11th 2008 4:11PM
MP is okay... kinda like a watered down BF.

No point comparing it to COD4, they are completely different sub-genres of modern combat games.
This is a lot more like Battlefield 2 crossed with Enemy Territory, and I really enjoyed it. It's a lot better than BF2MC, and has enough new features to differentiate it from simlar games.
The controls seem to be a LOT better than the SP demo too.
I'll buy it. :D

I was excited about this game until I played the demos. The single player demo wasn't bad, but nothing great. But the MP demo, IMHO, was complete shit! I would elaborate, but what's the point? It was a great idea (rebuild BF better) that failed to even capture BFMC2 on X360...and BFMC2 had some pretty annoying issues. Oh well, when's BF: Bad Company coming out? I can wait.
doobiwan @ Feb 15th 2008 6:59AM
Did we play different demo's?
I've been playing the MP demo for the last two nights and I'm loving it, I couldn't be bothered to play CoD4 anymore, Frontlines rules.
Tom Harris @ Feb 28th 2008 2:11PM
I played the MP demo, coulnd't get to grips with it, came back a couple of hours later played it again.
Conclusion: absolutly crap, the graphics are terrible and the frame rates arn't mighty impressive either. The controls are awful aswel. It's got some good ideas but needs a lot more work doing on it. Since it's coming out tomorrow I certainly won't be picking this up.
Tom Harris @ Feb 28th 2008 5:14PM
OH yea forgot to add, i thought the sound was excellent in some areas, (distnat weapon sounds are impressive)
COD4 @ Mar 2nd 2008 8:49AM
ok... who ever said frontlines is bad well.. quit playing the 360.. i just bought the game.. omg amazing i havent played the demo but i have the game now come on now.. 50 players together playing.. on 1 server. u can man over 50 viechles.. u HAVE UR OWN SQUADS OF TEAMS HA ok i kno cod4 has better graphics i have it on 360 but i cant get bored of frontliness. its a must buy for fps.
COD4 @ Mar 2nd 2008 8:49AM
anyone who else differs from my opionion is reasonable. cod4 is the best fps out on market, but frontline is nothing close to being bad, rent the game and you;ll find out
COD4 @ Mar 2nd 2008 8:53AM
