GDC08: Gears of War 2 press kit confirms Limited Edition

With the dust barely settling on the announcement, a press kit for Gears of War 2 on Xbox.com already confirms a Limited Edition is in the works.Gears of War 2, sequel to the 2006 Game of the Year, will release exclusively on the Xbox 360 in November 2008 from Epic Games and Microsoft Game studios.

I doubt it. I'm not really a Gears fan so I can say this... it's going to be the exact same game, except with new maps, and an added storyline with wicked twists, and the same Gorgeous Graphics! Basically...Same Shit, New Box.
November is Perfect timing because if what they say is true (PS3 Having a Better '08) Gears2 will make people buy 360s just like Halo 3 and CoD4 did. Am I right?

True.. I didn't give that much thought. Hopefully they'll bring a little something new to the table. Hopefully there will be some bad-ass new weapons. They need a "Cerebral Bore" type weapon like Turok had.. man that was sweet.

No way. This is a key strategy for MS and the 360 for this upcoming holiday. This will ship in November 2008, as I predicted in March 2007 ;-) I guess I'm an analyst now.
I guarantee work began on Gears 2 before the original even shipped.

I am looking forward to Gears 2, but I am done with "limited" & "collectors addition" versions of games. Save the extra $10+ and buy the basic version, maybe this will force the industry to drop this scam once & for all.

I can't view the gallery, the links are broken, but the instant it is available I am getting the LE. But it does look like a silver version of the GoW LE, just with a 2.

@Tr3y Money man from what u are saying u honestly have not seen the unreal engine 3 yet have you i just watched the video and it blowed my mind they said in the demo that was just a few new things in the game and that is everything i have heard on live of what people wants just in that demo it is amazing if you have not seen it watch the unreal engine lll tech demo

anyone who thinks ps3 is better then its probably cuase u havent played gears of war or halo3. gears is better than any ps3 out now and that will every come out on ps3. gears 2 better have more cool things like when u get downed ur not stuck in 1 position it should depend on on where u get shot and u should be able 2 crawl away and shoot wutever gun u had out last but have 2 stop movin to shoot. gears cant b beat
