Scratch that, no four play co-op for LEGO: Indy

MTV Multiplayer just posted a mild retraction after a LEGO: Indy producer cleared up the four player miscommunication. The new official details state that the game will allow for four players to be on the screen at once, but only two players can be controlled at any given time. Not four. And really, that's a big bummer. We guess we'll just have to stick with Halo 3 if we want four player co-op shenanigans. Stupid bricks.

I don't really care. :P I was never interested in the 4-player co-op anyway. Obviously, I'm just a big Indy fan.

It's a bummer the co-op isn't Live enabled, but I'll still be playing this game along with LEGO Batman when it hits in the fall.

awwww, teh ghey! I'm a big fan of the 4 player co-op. That was what had me sold on this game! Oh well.

I was actually wondering how LEGO: Indiana Jones would pull off 4-player co-op. I could see it in LEGO: Star Wars with its large stable of characters and even Batman where you could add Batgirl and maybe Nightwing.
The Indiana Jones movies were always just Indy and one or two sidekicks though. Wasn't sure how they were going to pull off stuff like the Well of Souls where it is just Indy and Marion.
Now that it is back to 2-player co-op, all is good. I'll be picking up both Indiana Jones and Batman. My son and I have a blast playing these games together.

hey x3f, clear up your wording a bit. four CHARACTERS on the screen at a time, not four PLAYERS - you guys are still being ambiguous. the mtv article states it clearly
