The folks over at
IGN had a chance to sit down and chat with Casey Hudson, Project Director for
Mass Effect about the game's upcoming
Bring Down the Sky DLC. And in the process, we get learned! We learn that Bring Down the Sky (which is scheduled for release March 10th) is focused on furthing the
Mass Effect storyline by introducing The Batarian race as well as learning more about how they've impacted the lives of those around you. Also, we should mention that the DLC can be played by any
Mass Effect owner as long the player is on or has access to the Normandy. Because that's where the mission starts off. Make the jump to read IGN's complete Bring Down the Sky interview in all its interview glory and learn a bit more of what's to come this March.

Nice. I hope they do a better job with the interiors this time and it's not 'Yet-Another-Mine' or 'Yet-Another-3-Rooms-In-A-'T'-Configuration'. But yeah, I love the game and it's minor faults!

That was one of my few gripes with the game. They just needed to be more creative on the side missions with terrain and buildings.

Awesome. I just picked up Mass Effect again after a long CoD4 hiatus. I'm on my second play through so it'll be nice to have a nice chunk of brand new stuff to check out.

I was on my second play through when I heard about this, so I stopped before the point where I could no longer control where I wanted to fly to. Can't wait for this to come out so I can get back into the game.

"furthing"?? really? "furthing"?
NATO_Duke @ Feb 26th 2008 12:55PM
Its a typo - get over it.

Hopefully I'll be finished with Lost Odyssey by the time this releases. I'd love to play it but damn Lost Odyssey may be too good to put down. It's the first JRPG I've fully enjoyed since Chrono Cross. Then again with the same team behind it I shouldn't have expected any different.

I need to finish the game so I can start my second run play-through when this DLC comes out.

I am excited about the DLC. Overall the game is solid and a lot of fun. There are a few small gripes but overall its pretty amazing. I hope that they will continue to offer more missions/worlds as DLC in the future.

I hope I can afford the DLC. Tough financial times right now but I hope to get it at some point. Love ME.

After I finish Lost Odyssey(one of the most under-rated games EVAR), I'll head back to Mass Effect, hopefully about the same time this pack hits.
