V8 Arcade nears completion and we have screens

Over on V8 Arcade's official home, the Isopod Labs crew has been keeping a consistent stream of new media and updates flowing including a handful of screenshots which we've placed in our gallery below. Isopod also posted a little fanmail session where they confirmed that they're at a 9 on the universal 1 through 10 development scale of completion as the game should release sometime this Spring. Oh, and advice for Isopod Labs. Bring back the banned N64 V8 commercial, because we're suckers for cheezy bleeped out "holy sh*t!" moments.

Hopefully it'll include some kind of online co-op against the computer, looks pretty cool. I think I only had one Vigilante 8 game, it was on the N64 but I wasn't real impressed.

I emailed the developer asking about online co-op against the computer, not sure exactly what his response means but I guess I'm glad I got a response, period.
"Hmm, well we have co-op and versus, both offline (split-screen) and online,
but not really online co-op where you team up with other human(s) against AI
bots. But you can set up different configurations of the above. Please check
out www.v8aracde.com for more info."
