Grateful Dead Rock Band DLC blowout
Grateful Dead finally makes its Rock Band debut next Tuesday, March 4th when six, count 'em, six master tracks are released onto the XBLM and to the masses. Yummy delicious. - "China Cat Sunflower" by Grateful Dead
- "Casey Jones" by Grateful Dead

Granteezy @ Feb 29th 2008 12:44PM
Solide addition to the DLC catalogue! Keep it up Harmonix!
tifosiotaku @ Feb 29th 2008 12:56PM
Dark Star would probably take up a boatload of HDD space. Anyways, my deadhead parents have a reason to buy Rock Band now. ^_^
Scott @ Feb 29th 2008 12:59PM
I definitly like the precident set, but I couldn't care less about the dead.
I could see an Oasis or STP one, or the obvious Nirvana that will prolly be here soon thanks to the leak.
No matter what, sellin the singles and selling the full pack at a discount, well played Rock Band.
MrMuggs @ Feb 29th 2008 1:03PM
How sorry are you if you bought GH3? Rock Band has done everything right from day one - customer service, community support and communication, regular releases, varied choices, fair prices. I'm so happy I bought this game.
Biscuit @ Feb 29th 2008 1:10PM
Yeah, it's too bad they didn't do Touch of Grey. Would've been funny to watch the performance if they made the characters change to skeletons like in the video. :D

what about full albums???
anyone else having as much bad luck with their guitars as i am? i'm currently on my 4th.
1st: bad strum bar.
2nd: no star power.
3rd: bad whammy bar.
4th: is starting to look like bad strum bar again......

So i live in Chicago at heard from a friend about XBOX partnering with a hotel here (www.hotelsaxchicago.com). I went to check out their "Studio" game room. Its killer...adults only (they even serve beer) and plasmas with networked XBOX's everywhere. But here is the kicker...they get pre-release stuff from XBOX and NOBODY knows about it. I would bet they got this stuff up and live now. Anyone else heard of deals microsoft is making like this?
Mabooza @ Feb 29th 2008 1:38PM
Yes! I've been waiting for this. China Cat Sunflower will be a blast. But really, all of these tracks will be great fun for the entire band. Definitely buying the whole pack. Great work Harmonix!
darley @ Feb 29th 2008 1:51PM
When the Nirvana album hits, all bets are off.
This will be the greatest game ever.
caslaw @ Feb 29th 2008 2:34PM
OMG YES!!!
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG . . .
When I saw that NIN was in Feb instead of March I thought maybe, maybe we would finally get a 3-pack GD set, but 6 masters!!! Sweeeeeeeet.
My wife will love that it includes Franklins Tower and Sugar Mag for me!!!
Now if they could figure out how to make it so you could stack Help with Franklin and Rider with China Cat so you could at least play them back to back that would be awesome (but obviously this is unrealistic).
jgajewski @ Feb 29th 2008 3:51PM
Can we get something that came out after I was born? All this old stuff is killing me. Give me something that came out within the last 10 years!
Kizzle @ Feb 29th 2008 4:26PM
MrMuggs, I agree that GH3 is shit compared to Rock Band, but EA/Harmonix has not done everything right since day 1 - if they made better instrument controllers, THEN they would have been doing everything right since day one.
Other than that, no complaints from me.
ANt @ Feb 29th 2008 5:45PM
Casey Jones and Truckin are lame!!
How about some "Brown Eyed Women, Ripple, Women are Smarter, Black Muddy River, Throwing Stones, Saint Stephen, Fire on the Mountain, Sugaree, Scarlet Begonias, Samson and Delilah, Dark Star, Brokedown Palace, Estimated Prophet.....etc. etc.........
At least they didn't put Touch of Grey in this pack.
DEAD4LIFE!!
