Capcom and
A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games just sent word that their,
announced way back in April '07, XBLA game
Rocketmen: Axis of Evil will be gently landing on the XBLA next Wednesday, March 5th. Capcom also included a few new screenshots (
galleried below) and from what we can tell, we're in for some cel-shaded arcade shooter shenanigans.
Rocketmen: Axis of Evil will set you back 800 Microsoft points and supports four player co-op locally and over Xbox Live as well as fully customizable character creation. Let's hear it fanboys, "
Rocketmen GO!"

I played this game at San Diego ComicCon last year and it was GREAT! I couldn't believe it was an XBLA game. It's a lot of fun and looks incredible.

XBLA has been on a definite role as of late. Rocketmen looks like a great game! (Why are their so few 4 player arcade style games on Live, anywho?)
If they now bring out Ikaruga the week after next... XBLA is trying to offer more bang-for-the-buck than 60 bucks worth of full retail purchases.

So other than the co-op thing, how does it differ from every other omnidirectional shooter on XBLA/PSN?
